Nice product for the price
Does as advertised. Nice manual gauge. Not backlit so you can not see it at night. Large enough to read when driving. Would buy again.

Works, but needs interpretation
This meter works fine, but the scale behind the needle is confusing. On my EZGO RXV, when the batteries are fully charged the needle is in the white zone. As the batteries discharge, it moves into the green zone. Not long after entering the green, the batteries start losing power. It never gets anywhere near the red zone before it's time to charge up. Knowing this, it's a great relief to know I have juice and won't get stranded, which was the objective. I use the cart to go to the lake and through the woods, in places it would be most inconvenient to have dead batteries. No more worries, now that I know how to interpret the gauge.

Inexpensive and easy to install battery meter for 48 volt golf cart. Very simple go no go meter.

Great indicator to have at a glance
I needed the confidence that we aren't going to be stranded somewhere so I got this battery meter for my 2015 Club Car Precedent. It's great to see the status of the battery as you drive. Install was pretty straightforward. Just make sure you get the +/- correct. The + on mine was labeled below the terminal, but you had to look in good light and at angle. I wish the bezel was a little wider to allow a little more forgiveness on the hole cut. Used a Dremel and got close but the is a small gap underneath, but a little black silicone can fix that if it bothers you. Overall, a great addition to the cart!

Works well. No instructions. Other comments suggest the meter is polarized, no +/- marks on the meter that I could find. Maybe was lucky the way it was wired/installed.

No instructions. Remove clamp.
This product was delivered to me in a foam envelope with no instructions. Had there been instructions. I would have removed the clamp that comes installed under the connectors. By keeping the clamp in place, the unit connected to itself and fried the cables. So, now I have a wonderful ammeter—at least it looks wonderful—that will never work. If you buy this item, make sure to remove the clamp before hooking up the batteries to the meter.
