Used this and 3 other companion tools to profile our 1/4" porcelain tile.
I bought this for a tile job on our master bathroom. We were using 1/4" solid color porcelain tile, which came with a bull nose piece that was only 2 3/4" wide. We thought this extra grout line would detract from the job and wanted to profile our own bull nose edges on full 12 x 12" tiles, and we're not sorry we did. It was easy, and looks amazing. This review should be coupled to 3 others I am writing on a (1) a Kawasaki angle grinder, (2) a STADEA 4" Rubber backer for the (3) STADEA 4 inch wet dry diamond polishing pads, because all 4 of these tools were used. We clamped the tiles to a board, used this tool wet with a garden hose, then wet polished the rounded over edges with the diamond polishing pads. If you're a professional, you're probably not reading this review. But if you're a home owner looking for some confidence in profiling your own tiles, see the pictures. It can be done.

Reliable Repeatability and Time Savings
I had been putting bull noses on granite tiles using a stone. It worked, but took time and care. Polishing aside, each side of a twelve inch tile took about twenty minutes to round over. Using this bit, I am able to do a twelve inch side in around minute.I use a Milwaukee variable speed angle grinder at just above the slowest speed setting. Of course, I use lots of water to keep the bit cool, to prolong its use.I've only rounded over about sixty linear feet so far, but the bit has performed fine to this point (no problems) and appears as though it will see a lot more use before it's retired.Just for reference:To bring the tile back to factory sheen, I run a strip of duct tape just back of the edge of the round-over, to protect the polished portion of the tile, then run through these grits: (1) 200; (2) 400; (3) 800; (4) 1,000; (5) 1,500; (5) 3,000

This thing actually works haha
I was skeptical but was willing to take the chance. This is one of the best investments I’ve made on Amazon! It saved me so much time and does a great job! Make sure to use it on both angles to get a proper bullnose.

Must have for a beautiful consistent edge
I had 10 large phenolic table tops to process the edges on, and this tool was perfect. I've processed over 400 feet of edges and the tool works the same as the first cut. Also the edges are consistent, which is not possible by hand. Highly recommend!!!

It worked great. Three or four passes per edge and bam
Bullnosed and polished to finish 100 SF of granite tile. A lot of work... would not undertake again. However, not because of this guy. It worked great. Three or four passes per edge and bam. Bullnose. And, it still looks like new. I did run it with water to stay cool. Consistent contour, easy cutting with my angle grinder... cant say enough good things about it. The polishing, on the other hand... looks great... the pads did their job... but a lot of work.

Rough cut only
It cuts pretty rough so either accept it, or plan on more work to finish it

This worked well to create marble bullnose. It did ...
This worked well to create marble bullnose. It did leave deeper gouges on the edges of the profile and I wish that it was smoother but then I believe it would take longer. I found that using a hand block for the 50 and 100 grit made it less likely to ruin the profile than the pads on the grinder. From 200 up to 3000 grit I used the grinder. I do wish the black guide didn't spin during startup but putting your finger on it safely keeps it stationary.
