Got this for my design YouTube channel and am so impressed with the ease and the sound quality. The clamp and crane are so sturdy that I don’t have any wiggling into the frame, the setup with literally just a plug and play situation, and the sound is crystal clear. Worth every penny.

Just getting into producing YouTube videos , I wanted to invest in upgrading my audio/desk space set up. I originally invested in a Blue Yeti and although it’s a great condenser starter microphone for an affordable price, there are some pit falls to it.Knowing nothing about microphones/audio or even video producing, everything has been a learning curve.Condenser microphones are very sensitive and will usually pick up every little sound. My blue yeti literally picks up the birds chirping from outside my house. From what I gather, condenser mics can be plugged into a computer or camera directly without the need for an audio interface.Dynamic microphones are less sensitive in that they block out all other noise but the sound going directly into it. Almost all dynamic microphones require an audio interface which can cost anywhere from $100 plus. So purchasing a dynamic microphone almost always will need to also purchase an interface like a Focusrite Scarlett Solo.This deity microphone is a dynamic mic but doesn’t require an audio interface to power it. It can be plugged right into your computer or camera, which is a huge plus! Never mind that this kit comes with a decent boom arm and in WHITE!! Which is impossible to find for both the mic and boom arm that’s a higher quality then the cheap white boom arms Amazon sells. When recording videos the white almost blends in and becomes less a focal point during recording then a black boom arm and black microphone in front of your face.It’s a great value for the price. I just received the microphone the other day and haven’t yet played around with it, but once I do I will update this review further.

Been using this for over a month now, and it really is an amazing Mic. Perfect for high quality youtube content creation and narration.If you are planning on using this to live stream or communicating with friends while gaming , make sure you have a way to put a few filters on it , and educate yourself on Limiters, Compressors, noise gates, etc because it will pick up background noise and keyboard clicks much loader than a headset microphone would, but unlike a headset mic the quality of this is amazing.If you're using it with OBS all the filters you need are built in to OBS.

Im giving this microphone review 4 stars! It would have been 5 if I didn’t have the issue that i had.Long story short, the mic fails to connect upon restart or shutdown so I manually have to unplug and plug in for it to be discovered.I have windows 11 and I believe that is the issue because I did everything from uninstalling usb drivers to installing fresh drivers, switching computers to switching usb ports from same computers. Nothing worked, sadly.I even contacted Deity themselves and they sent me a replacement microphone and still the same issue.For anyone not running windows 11 or if you are i hope you can get yours to work and not have my same issue.Unfortunately, i had to return the original package so i uploaded the replacement microphone/box that deity sent me rather than the boom arm package.

I love the mic is really easy to install, i love that is white and also the arm is great it does the job, it’s definitely worth it if you don’t wanna spend too much money on a mic but still want good quality audio.🫶🏻

I owned this mic for about 2 years. I like how easy it is to use, you just plug it in and it works. It's very simple.I don't like that it picks up my keyboard sounds and there is no way (or software) to adjust that. My keyboard is pretty loud, but I don't like that my friends can hear me type every key. Additionally, the mic will pick up any sound when recording so be prepared to do some audio mixing in your editing software.For $200 you get a very high quality mic, boom arm, and cables, but no software to control the mic's sound which is a must have now days. I would look for a mic with a software or better mixing features.

Quality is outstanding and you can adjust the sensitivity. Setup is easy and I’ve had zero problems with integrating it in my PC. Plug and play.The mic stand is not the…best. It will most definitely work well for most desks it’s just the clamp sticks out a bit so it can presumably hold headphones. It becomes more of a hastle for desks with solid sides.
