Parts and product sarisfactory. However, no invoice or instructions included. I attempted to email AND post installation question on Amazon and NO REPLY! Good news, figured it out myself.

Clearance issue
Only rating this so people will know you need a minimum of 3.5 inches from center of cap to your firewall. I did not so had to send back. If not for my clearance issue I think this would work great

TIGHT FIT FOR 86 dodge ram 318.
UPDATE. I bought this in 2018 and it still works amazing! Truck runs amazing. Hands down I’m so happy with this product. Starts instantly and good power. I couldn’t be happier!Tight fit but runs perfect no ignition problems now. uses this the replace the factory computer controlled system.

Good luck
Bought one for my dad and one for myself, haven't installed mine yet, my dad's quit it started leaking oil in to the cap 700 miles from home and while having to evacuate from a fire it had to be towed, so at this point I can't return mine and really don't want to install it.

Not the easiest job but most could get it done
Easy swap to get rid of the old points, condenser, cap and rotor. Works great. Takes up more room than you may have if engine compartment is cramped. I also had to bend some throttle linkage around it, but no big deal for me. A 1968 Dodge pickup has a lot of room compared to some cars.

Was a great all in one solution for Mopars
Update———After 10 months the distributor shaft broke in half, may have been a one off but it is something to keep an eye out for.———Great product, installed in my 87 D100 with a 318 and it works better then the original computer controlled distributor. To get it installed I had to grind off the middle tab on the distributor hold down clamp so that the bolt would thread in and I had to run a new electrical wire from the ignition relay to the distributor as the lean burn system would only provide 10v. Once I gave it a 12v source tied to the ignition it worked and have had no issues. As mentioned by some of the previous people it is a bit tight but it did fit in with no alterations to the body.I also recommend buying the A-Team pig wires and the A-Team HEI pigtail also available on Amazon to make your installation easier. This distributor has male ends not female, therefore, stock Mopar wires won’t work.
