Worked good as they should.

These work great
Was thinking no one was making these anymore. These are made so well, they should last for years. That review was done months ago, we have used these cables several times, in some bad places. These have stayed on and still working like new. Will buy these again if I even need more. Thank who ever made these.

Worked well, wish I didn’t have to buy ten
I looked for a week in hardware, home stores, electrical suppliers and online to find something to replace the plastic thingee on my roaster because the cord had become frayed. I learned they are called stress relief, and when I found these they did relieve my stress, because I didn’t have to replace an otherwise perfectly good roaster. They are firm, semi-hard plastic which held up well to five hours of turkey-roasting on Thanksgiving. Easy to install. The diagram did not show the size of the part that fits through the hole, though, so I had to guess, but it was right. They do protrude a couple inches, and only bend slightly (offering ample stress relief!). I only wish I could buy just a couple, because now I have nine extras. On the upside, I have a lifetime supply of stress relief. (Photos show before and after installation)

Can only be attached to a very thin plate
I needed this to extend out of the side of a rolling kitchen cart used to hold an air fryer. The frier electric cords are a bit short to stretch from the fried to a wall outlet unless it's placed on kitchen cabinets, which in most kitchens you can't do as the frier is considered unsafe to use under overhead cabinets because of the heat ventilation space needed. The pics are a little misleading as to what the strain relief can be connected to. I had to buy a metal blank outlet box cover and make a hole in it and put a 2 times larger hole in the cabinet for the back of the strain relief to fit. The relief worked great on the 3-14 guage cable it needs for the extension cord from the cart. Good value and not too bad looking.

Fits, secures, and doesn’t leak
Simple part. I just needed a strain relief to secure the replacement power cord on my 70 year old Shopsmith. The previous relief only lasted 55 years, before deteriorating and making the tool dangerous enough that I just put the tool away for 15 years. While I had to enlarge the hole to accommodate this one, it holds the cable much more securely and looks like it will be solid for the next 70. I’ll update this review in 2094. Stay tuned.

These strain reliefs protect the cordage at the point of greatest stress.
If you look at high quality corded devices, you will notice that they all come with a strain relief where the cord enters the body or a connector to make replacement easier. Repeated sharp bends cause much earlier cord failures. These not only make the cord last longer, but also seal the cord to prevent liquids and small particles from entering the device. Ever open a device only to find it is full of dust or water? These prevent contaminants from entering around the cord. I did find that the 1/2 NPT version does not work with 12 gauge power cords, but the 3/4 NPT version works quite well. Being plastic means it is weaker than steel, but they are also less expensive and less likely to corrode. Everything has tradeoffs, under most conditions these win big time.

We used these strain reliefs for instrumentation cable
We used these strain reliefs to avoid sharp flexing of a cable in a CNC machine project. They seem to be very good, having operated for thousands of flexes after a few months' use.

what's to review if you need a Sealed Strain Relief for some SJO of SO cord, these are great!
