RV- Screen Door Latch Right Hand Handle Kit - Camper Motorhome Travel Trailer

This is a basic travel trailer screen door latch with handle but it's probably the best one out there, unless maybe you wanted to try one of the aluminum ones thst look a lot like this. But, dont pay extra for aluminum because this one will do the job. Very easy to install and fit the screw holes from the latch I had to replace perfectly. Couldn't be more pleased. Comes with good quality screws.

Wasn't sure if I was ordering the right one bit it was an exact fit. Feels more sturdy than the one I had.looks great for the price. It aligned perfectly and the plastic feels strong.

The spring on this overly large lever latch is overly strong. Overly large is not a problem in fact kind of like it Overly strong that's a problem. So strong the screen door can't latch it. So I compensated. Then I went to the door keeper that holds the screen door to the actual door and realized that it had to be put at a 5° to 10° angle to parallel the handle. There is a point when design out ranks alignment, this is not it. Back to the spring problem, because the spring is so strong I have to specifically latch the handle instead of swinging it open and letting it latch itself like it was designed though poorly to do. I gave it three stars because it works. I wanted to give it two stars but it works so you got three. I will probably replace it in six months with a different brand when I'm tired of latching the door. Update: after slamming the screen door multiple times it's working like a charm. I'm not changing my star amount yet time will designate that.
