It's hard to explain how amazing this seemingly basic shirt is. I got the short sleeved navy (D-dark blue) and it is a true, classic dark navy. I am 5'9" and 170lbs and ordered my usual Amazon size XL. I am usually a large in most retail stores. The fabric has a beautiful drape and feel and once you get the initial shipping wrinkles out, it is an easy care and wrinkle free garment. It is light weight, but has enough body to be very flattering and is cut for a woman's figure with ample room through the hips. I find the sleeves to be a very flattering length for a woman of a certain age. They provide just enough coverage without looking overly long and dowdy. It has a shirt tail hem which I find more flattering than a hem that is straight across. Many shirts are advertised showing a front tuck in almost every photo. I found this item to be shown the same way but, when styling it at home, the shirt tail hem allows it to look great untucked as well with a nice curve in both the front and the back.

I have lots to share regarding these tops. First to help with sizing: At Lands End I wear an XL or 18T or 18W, Soft Surroundings XL, Banana XL, Dillard’s XL, JJill XL. I’m 5’9”, a pear shape, 40C. The top is 49” around at second button, immediately where underarm seam is located & I’m 46” around at largest point there. My main challenge is not to look pregnant with the length, drape/fall of tops. Some due to fat, some due to height and some, not being chesty. In the short sleeve version of this shirt I wear the XX-Large. Larger chest and you will most likely be “button challenged” but always worth a try if you’re real close. At my size it’s a perfect fit with no gaping. I have the mustard, navy & black & am ordering more because it’s such a nice look & fit for me per hubby & DIL’s & sooo easy & flexible for travel as you can dress up or down with these tops and they are cool in hot weather. Flattering shirttail hem too! I had trouble initially getting creasing folds out so I took to cleaners once & now they wash & dry perfectly, no wrinkles (I think they just needed steamed out so you can probably do yourself too, I just didn’t have time). Now for value, I encourage anyone to set their expectations accordingly. But! What I can tell anyone is that I have tops I’ve purchased for 5-6x the price I’ve been dissatisfied with before so nothing’s perfect all the time. It seems these days price isn’t necessarily reflective of quality, unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it😊 IMO these are tough to beat for style, quality and versatility for the price! I’d actually pay more for them if I had to, good luck!

This ran small for me. I have washed and dried it and there are still original creases from the packing. It's okay to wear under something I guess. Also pretty sheer. It does seem to be good quality, but wasn't at the level I would have wanted.

I have an event company and we work hard in the sunshine for extremely long days. I got my whole crew these shirts to look professional and still stay cool. They look great on all body types. They are light and loose but still have shape to them.I am 5'3" 140lbs and I ordered both small and medium and I like the fit of both. I normally wear medium but small definitely fits nicer (not too snug at all). I wash in the machine on gentle and hang dry (might need a light iron from time to time)

Seems like quality fabric. Soft and flowing. Check the size chart to get the correct size . I loved the feel of it and have ordered several tops . However today I hand washed my red blouse with a drop of detergent and the water turn red red the minute the fabric hit the water . The same with the blue top . So I hope it doesn’t fade easy . It would be a shame because it fits very nicely on me

I normally stay away from this style but I am so glad I took a chance to try something new!

I was on the fence about buying this shirt..worried it’d be too boxy or too stiff. It’s neither! It’s light and airy but still structured well. I ordered a medium, and for me, it fit true to size (5’2”, 140 lbs, 36B chest, size 8 pants). Such a great work shirt! Will definitely be buying in more colors 😉

The fabric of this shirt is absolutely the best. Drapes beautifully and I can't tell you how beautiful it is.

Well made but a little small.

Its very nice. Fits well, but it's a little too long. Feels great on the skin but not light and airy if thats what you're looking for.

Nice blouse, good and soft fabric and comfortable. Kind of see through but using a tank top underneath it's fine.

I really like the style - even though it is a collared button-down shirt, it is not boring. I have worn it with jeans and dress pants, and it looks great with both. I am slim, so it fits big - but not in shabby way.
