Worth the cost
For the price you pay, it is definitely worth it. Durable material. Easy to assemble. Cleans up easily. Best feature is the PowerPoint to assist in getting out of the chair. I purchased this chair for my English bulldog so he would stay out of my chair. The PowerPoint feature helps remove him from the chair when he needs to go outside.

Very comfortable chair, looks great, and heat and massage are awesome!!
The directions were a bit tricky for the frame and getting it put together properly. Also tricky getting the cover put on the frame right. After that, the chair assembly was pretty easy amd straight forward. Would give the chair 4 stars for assembly because of the frames.

Incomplete or unclear instructions.
Assembly: Several reviews mentioned reviews mentioned putting the right arm cover on the left and vise versa if you had trouble getting it on. That is not the solution... in the attached image, if you look closely at the two upper case letter L's the bottom part of both letter L's face into the arm frame. This is a wrong configuration and will cause problems installing the protective sleeves (called decorative sleeves in the instructions) and the outer cover. Instead, make sure that the bottom of the two L's for the left side and two R's for the right side are on the outside of the arm frame (so that no matter what side of the frame you are on , the letter is right side up). If you assemble it this way , the protective sleeve and the outer arm cover will easily slide over the arm frame.Use and comfort. This chair does not allow for the back to be in the upright position and have the footrest up.

Difficult to assemble but comfortable once set up
This thing could have come in two boxes with the sides pre-assembled but came in one box and took two hours to put everything together. One of the pre-assembled arms had a tear in it and the slip covers for the side arms were nearly impossible to zip up even after multiple adjustments. One of the zippers fell off when I tried to zip it around the metal frame. The brackets for the side pieces were difficult to slide into place as the cushions were so fat you could not see to line up the pieces. One of the side arms would not line up with the holes for the bracket bolts, forcing me to make a new hole in the fabric. Also one of the arm rests was tucked under the chair leg rest and could not be pulled out without connecting the lift button before the chair was assembled. In short, it was unpleasant and time consuming to set up.Once assembled it looked and worked well and has been well used for a week and holding up with no issues. The base is quite sturdy and the cushioning is nice. The lift mechanism works fine.

The fabric over the arms lacked cushion.
The price is good for this recliner, but you do have to put it together yourself and the box is pretty large. That is fine, as I figured that would be the case, BUT when I put together the arms and put the fabric that had the cushions for the armrests, there definitely lacked cushion and it was not snug on the frame. This caused a wrinkle look on the arms of the recliner, which made the recliner look cheap. We had purchased one of these recliners before for my father and it was fine - I did not have this issue. When I ordered the second recliner - for mom, this recliner came with the fabric wrinkly and it seemed like less cushion on all parts overall.

Came in 1 large box not 2 boxes
Just received our chair and found out it was jammed in one box unassembled. One million arm parts to have to put together. Nothing like the assembly instruction video…Very misleading. I bought this chair with the understanding that everything just slid and snapped into place with no tools/assembly required. THAT IS NOT THE CASE! I bought this for my 89 year old father-in-law who is disabled. Let’s hope my husband can get this together or we will have to hire someone to assemble. An extra expense that I didn’t want to incur.I will update review after chair has been assembled.Update: after quite awhile fighting with the arm assembly, two of us finally got it put together. My father-in-law loves the cup holders and the duel remotes. Fits him perfectly (he’s around 5’10” 180 lbs). He says that it is very comfortable.I’m changing my review from 1 star to 3 because they didn’t assemble the arms just so they can fit it all in a large and heavy box. Not like the video reviews that they show.

GREAT Chair BUT....
Very excited to get the chair and it was basically an easy put-together AFTER realizing this one thing: when building the arm frames and following the written directions, we could not get the cup holders sockets or the bracket covers to align correctly. That is because the RIGHT frame covers goes over the LEFT frame and vise versa. Once we realized that, changed the covers to the reverse, it took us less than 10 minutes to finish assembling the chair. it is comfortable and easy to use. Advice: do not use a chair cover with this chair as it will diminish the massage/heat features. Otherwise, glad we bought it

Not as Comfortable as Expected
We like the look & features of the recliner but they are not as comfortable as expected, the foam is sparse & very firm especially on the seat, my lower back/hips actually aches when resting or watching a movie so thinking of buying a memory foam seat to help. The ratings were deceptive because when I went back to reread them after delivery I noticed that the ratings were for 2 different chairs mixed together.
