This book!! The feels!
This book of course was amazing just like the last 3, but the ending to this book really got be it was so emotional and thank god I started this series when it was already completed so that I could jump right into the next one! I definitely think we learn a lot more in this book about Oli's bond and the relations it has to North and Nox's bonds so I can't wait for more to be revealed!Ok spoilers ahead so keep scrolling...*************At the end of the third book we learn that Sage was the one to kill Dara the shield and that is how the resistance was able to get into the sanctuary. I was in complete shock when this came out. I was so upset! I didn't not want to believe that her best friend, the one person that did not treat her like a monster from the very beginning was betraying her, it broke my heart. Thankfully we learn pretty quickly that Sage was not in control so it was not actually her who did this thank god!She goes on a mission with Gryphon and Nox to capture Ryley and Giovanna, that evil bitch, and of course we get more of Nox being a big jerk to Oli, but again we do see how in control his bond can be just like Oli's because when he goes into the tent his bond physically will not let him leave and then the bonds come out to play with each other and Gryphon is completely shook by this fact because apparently no one knew that Nox and North's bonds where just like Oli's so this is going to be fun seeing how all this plays out. Finally Gabe gets his bonding with Oli!! I was so happy because I love him and we find out that he decided to save himself for her which I mean is cute, but I also was like well this is a little weird I don't know why, but she was happy because I know that is one thing that bothered Oli, that all her bonds have slept with so many other women. They go on another mission and during this mission Gabe literally turns into a Dragon so that was pretty amazing!Gryphon points out on a few occasions that they may do better in these battles if their bonded group was completed, so basically telling Nox that he should consider completing his bond with Oli and he's not trying to be a jerk about it because he heard their bonds talking and know that they are close to not even giving Nox and Oli the option and Gryphon wants them both to be able to choose this and not have their bonds chose it for them. So Gryphon and Oli are getting it on and when they were done Nox walked in the room and Gryphon basically offered her up to him, which Oli was all for and they completed their Bond! Although I was hoping for them to finally work their shit out and Nox figures out he actually truly cares for Oli and then they bond, this was definitely still a very hot way for things to go down.Unfortunately, Nox is still Nox and them bonding does not really change much for their relationship which is upsetting, but I'm hoping it will get better. They all went to rescue one of their Tac team members and while there someone else was in the camp with Davies that Oli could not tell who he was. She started begging North for them to come back to her and for them all to leave, but North, Gryphon and Nox wouldn't listen and kept going so they could kill Davies. Then they were attacked, and Oli was sending them all the strength she could, but Nox wouldn't take any and was just sending his power over to North to save his brother. And then the worst thing happened, and I was crying, and it was awful! Nox spoke to Oli in her mind for the first time ever since they were bonded. "I'll see you in the next life bonded. Maybe I can love you right there." And then he died!!!! And that is where we were left! It was terrible!!!!!!So here is my ranking of the guys at the end of this book....1. North2. Gryphon3. Gabe4. Nox: He has moved up the list! Although he was still a moody jerk most of the book the last quote while he was dying got to me and I will be so upset if he stays dead!5. Atlas: Don't know what it is he's just not my fave

Still a great series, buuuuut
Ok so the story is great, the spice is on fire, and the plot keeps thickening lovingly. But, one thing is starting to scratch at my skull internally is that I just finished book FOUR and we still know nothing about North and Nox’s past trauma that’s affecting the bonds and stuff. It’s really ticking me off. I get having curtains last awhile to keep the mystery going, but freaking seriously FOUR dang books and still nothing but constant innuendos. I love a good mystery, but dang make it drag thru two books not over four. Find something else to drop into the story to make me curious about. And why haven’t they addressed why she’s never been able to kill Davies? Idk I’m just annoyed that she’s put mysteries out from the veeeery beginning, that still hasn’t been answered after four books. But she keeps putting in random surprises that nobody was even thinking about? I’ve loved this series, buts it’s become harder and harder to give each book more than 4 ⭐️ because of that isssue. I’m hoping I feel better in book 5 because I really enjoy the characters and the stories progression, but I can’t take the constant innuendos of the same dang thing from the beginning of book 1. Just spit it out and move on to one of the other questions that are up in the air.

4.5 Stars. Live and Let Bond
I’m back, baby. I took a longer than anticipated break from this series and now I’m here and back in a frame of mind to read these. And I’m glad I stopped after the last cliffhanger instead of this one coz what in the Bond nightmare was that ending I just read? And after that specific line on the last page?! My poor rotten heart! I’m still silently screaming as I write this. I’m fiiine. Okay I know all of it is vague but I can’t say more without major spoilage.Plot wise everything moved rapidly as usual and there was solving of the last mystery plus added variables and some new info and characters and I enjoy their little community growing from strength to strength. Our bonds might be strong but there need their little found family too.I’m moving straight to Bond rankings coz we all know that’s what I’m here for:Atlas: he doesn’t annoy me quite as much anymore but as useful as his indestructibility is, he really is a bit of an afterthought in this group. Not even Oli obsesses over him half as often as she does the others. Very sad. Anyway…Gabe: our little puppy is all grown up now 🥹 and he’s got some claws…and other things you should read for yourself. He’s the peacemaker of the group and automatically likable, but tame. His Bromance with Atlas is kinda cute though. This is where it gets tricky coz my top 3 are basically all # 1 for me at this point. Maybe one slightly edging out the others.Gryphon: he’s definitely the most improved for me. Wise, strategic, the balance on which both the strength and sanity of the group hinges, brain daddy (yes I called him that) is witty and sweet and so dirty it makes my heart do h0rny cartwheels.Nox: my poor damaged shadow baby deserves all the world for Brutus alone, but he’s finally showing glimpses of the soft little boy inside of that razor sharp, thorny poisonous intellectual hot professor shell. We still need to know so much of him, but he “sees” everyone. And he has a nickname for our girl 🥹 I want to say so much more but no, go read for yourselfNorth: caring, protective Shadow daddy is still numero uno in my heart. I mean constant acts of service followed by things like eyes on me? Worship feels like degradation? Okay that last one was Oli but who she was referring to is important here. Really you get the best of both worlds with daddy Draven and idk what more could one want. The bonds can fight it out for the top spot, but Oli will always be my favorite girl. I know I probably rehash it in all my reviews, but it must be said. Fiercely loyal, acutely vicious, incredibly sassy, and compassionate through it all, she might be central to 5 men, but she’s more than a match for each one of them. And I love her half god, half monster bond, that moody, cantankerous bish as much as I love Oli. After the developments of this book, I’m excited to see her and the rest of them stretch their already unholy powers. The X-men vibes are more intense than ever with all the 💀 and destruction they’re thrown into and all the cool new powers. I just need them to get some happy back in their lives 😭

HOLY CLIFFHANGER WHAT
Okay so this book was a lot. Smut was perfect. Storyline a little wonky. As much as I like the storyline and finding the new bond families, there needs to be more. I feel this storyline has become a bit limiting.Same thing happens as it does in the previous books. I'm getting annoyed at the someone next getting kidnapped. I like the power descriptions and where we get taken. It's super annoying that the resistance is always steps ahead. The ending of this book I am vexed. I haven't gotten angry this series, but I'm pissed. This better not be it because they deserved so much better.

My heart aches
Finding out what happened to Dara’s murder and who is framing Sage is a slow process. In the meantime they try to take out camps from the resistence. Someone close to them Unser is taken to the camps and they are trying everything to get him back. Failing at the first attempt but finding out what Gabe can do now they all have bonded and their extra power has yet to settle is new. At the second attempt they recover Unser but we lose one of our own bonded. And he admitted to her maybe in the next life he could love her.My heart is crying 💔 I so hope in the next two books there is a way to get him back because I am devastated for all of them.

Woohoo... things are getting more and more interesting
Is it weird that Nox is kinda my favourite? I mean I like them all....all the hottie handsome feast of Oli's guys. But there is something so raw, unfiltered in Nox's character....it just gives me shivers. There's just something about broken guys ..( I promise I am not trying to be insensitive here )....that just revs up all my motors.
