I am absolutely pleased with these water globes and recommend you to look no further. I have used these large-sized globes for a few months now and have purchased two sets. The construction is sturdy and the painting is gorgeous and unique to each globe, so no two globes are alike, however the craftsmanship on each is superb. You may have different thinning ends on each bulb, however all will fullfill their purpose regardless. I read another persons review of these and will pass on his/her tip, and that is to water your plants as you normally would with a watering can or at least hydrate the soil, prior to inserting a filled globe, so that the water may deplete from the globe at a slower rate. I can leave my plant for a couple days, like 5-7 days for example, come back and the globes still have water, often times halfway-full. Of course, every plant is different and will consume different amounts of water to suit its needs so, for example, you may fill both globes at once and come back later to realise that one is more depleted than the other, in different pots with different plants, but this is natural and the products work excellent. Filling them is easy enough: set your facet on low flow or use water from a watering can, flip the globes upside down and angle them (on a slant) under the flow, wait a few seconds, and they will fill to the brim.Also another great reason to purchase these water globes from 5starsuperdeals, if no better a reason, is that their customer service is top-notch! Understanding that these products are fragile glass, I received one broken piece on my second order. I requested a refund, but I was slow to return the product as I have an aggressive work schedule. The day I was going to slap the return label on the box and return-ship the 4-piece large set, I received via mail a first class package, with two additional globes (including the same colored piece which had arrived broken and a bonus blue globe)! I was so pleased on how fast 5starsuperdeals corrected my order issue (sending an additional 2 for 1 replacement globes so shortly after my return request) that I cancelled the return request and kept all my fantastic globes. These globes may be a little pricey including the shipping cost (pending your deal at the timing of your order), but it is money well spent with a company who values your business and stands behind their products. I will be happy to order again from 5starsuperdeals in the future!P.S. If you are trying to determine between these water globes or an affordable drip system (under $100), let me tell you that I own both and I prefer these globes here’s why: I have come home time and time again, after being gone for multiple days, and found that these globes always keep my plants lusciously green (while my drip has often run out of water faster despite having a greater amount of water i.e. a gallon), these globes will not let you down simply because they ran out of batteries or lost power (they don’t require any), and finally these globes will not over-water (which can happen with a drip sys., especially if you custom tailor the fittings or attachments).

These work good but do not last longer than one day and you have to refill them. I would not buy them again...

I have a lot of plants outside for the summer, and needed a way to make sure they didn't dry out. I had some Aqua Globes from a while back that I used in my hanging plants indoors, and have been satisfied with their look and their ability to keep sometimes overlooked plants watered, so I wanted to purchase more. However, they seem to have been discontinued or aren't being sold in stores in my area. Amazon to the rescue!I looked at a lot of different watering globes, and these were the best value. I received them recently, and they are very pretty. They function well too, with one difference. The diameter of the tube part is narrower than original Aqua Globes, and so are a bit more difficult to fill. But they work just fine. They are a definite knock off brand; the box had a typo that had us all laughing: Automatically Waters Plans! What a hoot!I am happy with my purchase, and now my plants look pretty and have water too.

Two of mine came with broken tips, it was only about half an inch on the bottom of each one. I assume the box was dropped at some point. It doesn't affect how they work so I used them anyway rather than bothering with a return. So far they seem to be helping some of my plants that get wilted daily due to how hot it is on my deck. The plants seem to be staying better hydrated. I still have to water them as its always upper 80s and 90s here but this gets them through the mid day heat. They look pretty too. I have ordered more for the rest of my plants as well. I do wish it came in purple and yellow as well.

Love the colors and easy to use and so far my plants are looking healthier

but they run out a lot quicker than I expected and are kind of hard to fill again with water, especially when the narrow tube opening gets clogged with soil. That being said, I still like the idea of them (that they water my plants when I can't get to it) and they work well enough but I wouldn't pay the price again for the "as seen on tv" ones. These work the same as those although they are not quite as glossy on the outside (which does not affect their function). If you are looking for these but just a cheaper alternative to the originals, these are great. I just have a few caveats about the original design is all-could be better but they do the job.

Was on vacation for 2 weeks during some very hot weather. These automatic waterers kept the outdoor plants alive until we got back from vacation.
