Treat yourself
What a watch! Seriously the best. A beautiful time piece, shipped quickly. Keeps time like Buddy Rich. This is, without a doubt, a showstopper, class and quality. I know when my heart stops beating the Spinnaker will keep ticking. I’m going to buy more, unfortunately I can only wear one at a time.

Stunner!
Absolute stunner for the money. Finish quality and comfort are on par with pieces 10X the price. I have a large wrist so size is perfect.

Big Chunky watch that wears smaller than its size
I purchased this watch direct from Spinnaker and thus far I am really enjoying the experience. The watch originally comes on a metal band which has all the signs of being a quality band. It has solid end links, although it appears to be a straight end link and because of the design of the watch it doesn't need to be custom shaped. The band uses screws instead of pins, it also comes with a diver deployment clasp. I am not sure how much I will wear this watch on the metal band, I've already removed it and switched over to a Nylon NATO strap. Because of the design of the lugs, installing the NATO was not easy. I was unable to tread the nylon strap through and had to remove the pins to perform the installation.Despite its larger size, 44mm X 15mm, it actually wears rather small even with a double pass Nylon strap. Most of this is due to the short length of 48mm. Additional the spring bars are tucked under the watch so it wears a bit smaller than the 48mm length would indicate. The overly large minute hand and small hour hand give the "time viewing" experience a totally different perspective. Your eyes are drawn naturally to the minute hand, which makes sense because most of the time we already know what the hour is given the amount of time keeping devices that are prevalent in modern world. Here are some additional positives and negatives:Positives- The dial has a 3 dimensional aspect that I really like.- The dial color is almost a slate blue, which I much prefer over brighter blues.- The watch keeps good time ± 5 seconds over the last week.- Impressive amount of lume, the watch is very visible in low light.- Love the octagon shape of the watch.- Signed crowns are always a classy touch.Negatives- The bezel is thin so it is difficult to get a good grip on it, but it does have a nice clicking action.- Because of the of the lug shape you can’t easily slide out a nylon strap to show off the display case back.- The watch is still a bit on the bigger size, even though it wears small, it might be out of reach for some because of the large size.Overall, this is a really good watch and one I am going to enjoy adding to my collection. My wife said, "Hmm its an octagon, don't you already have a blue watch."
