Legit Bagel Mix, 2 Pack

This is an amazing mix, and I'm so happy to be able to enjoy gluten free bagels. A tip from the product creator (that is not printed on the current packaging recipe) is to add the liquid blend (water / yeast / honey) to the mix SLOWLY and knead until you have a clay-like texture. You may not need all of the liquid to achieve the right consistency. My first batch of dough was runny and a little hard to work with, but I think this helpful tip from the owner of the company will totally fix the problem! These bagels are delicious—crisp and golden on the outside, with a slightly sweet, warm doughy center. They were delicious with Trader Joe's "everything" bagel seasoning, and Miyoko's cashew-based dairy free cream cheese style spread.

As a reformed bagel lover, I was skeptical before I tried them, but these really are a fantastic substitute for those of us who can't have the "real" thing anymore. For the price, it is a really good deal too. You'd pay more for ready-made gluten free bagels in the grocery store or for the ingredients to make your own (and they probably wouldn't be as good - at least I have not yet found a recipe that comes close!).One little tip... if you mix up the dough and at first think it is too wet and unable to be shaped, just let it sit for a few minutes. It will firm right up and be ready to work.

My husband and I tried Legit Bagel Mix for the very first time this past weekend - let me tell you, these are nothing short of amazing! I think anyone would be hard pressed to pass a taste test with these bagels, any gluten free bagel you find in a store and even "regular" bagels. My husband and I were BLOWN AWAY with just how delicious these are! I even ordered another 2 pack after we had the very first bagel!!!! So so so good. You will not be disappointed!!

These are delicious for paleo bagels. They take the effort right out of getting paleo baking right. We ate then shortly out of the oven and they were delish- a little chewy, but crunchy on the outside. Only downside is price- these are pricey when you really think about it. But for a paleo bagel fix, fantastic!

Made these according to the directions the 1st time. They turned out almost entirely raw inside. Second time I used 3/4c of water and let them rise for two hours formed them and let them rise again for a half hour. Followed the rest of the directions and they are still raw after baking. Not to mention the mix doesn’t come with yeast or toppings.

I am truly grateful for this tonight was my first time trying the Paleo bagels and I won't lie I ate two! Even if you're not paleo and you're just trying to avoid gluten in grains this is for you. For the first time in a year I was able to eat something that was delicious and puffy and I am beyond grateful to the woman who created this

Flavor is good(although that maybe more to do with the TJs everything seasoning) but they are super small and look deflated after cooking. I made them twice thinking I did something wrong with the first batch but they came out the same. For comparison purposes, barely breads bagels aren't as good in texture, the size is much better and not as many carbs.

The first time I made these I ended up eating three! I could not believe how easy and good these things were! I topped the bagels with Trader Joe's everything bagel seasoning. These were fantastic. Recipe is easy to follow and quick to make. I will definitely purchase again.
