National Geographic World Explorer Wall Map - Laminated (32 x 20 in) (National Geographic Reference Map) Map – January 19, 2022

I had an unlamented version of this map I got from my Nat Geo subscription years ago and have been using as a travel pin map. It was damaged while moving and got this to replace it and it’s absolutely perfect! With great , thick lamination too.

I didn't retain enough from my geography classes! This map makes it easy for me to keep up with where things are happening in the world. Nice size and lamination. Also it's up to date (2014) with any changes in country names. I only wish I had bought this sooner!!

This map is perfect. The laminate is good quality, the size is perfect, and it works wonderfully for our homeschooling purposes. I am so glad I went back to National Geographic for another great wall map.

The detail on the map is nice and the lamination seems sturdy enough for the poster to support itself when hung on a wall. I wish the colors were a bit more vibrant, but am overall happy with the map.

Product arrived as described. Words are clear and accurate.

Downsizing one I have , great size

This world map was purchased for a school project in which various locations needed to be noted with a pin. The picture on the website is a bit deceiving, as I had the impression that the continents, countries, states, etc. would be bigger and would be easier to differentiate than what I found upon receiving the map.While the map is of good size, the continents and all therein seem small - it was hard to find where one state, province, or country began and another ended, as many city, state, province, and country names run over into adjoining states, provinces and countries and boundaries are not always clearly marked. For example, Kentucky is about the size of the tip of my little finger on the map. New Mexico smaller than the size of a dime (if it were squared off), California 1 1/2 inches long and as wide as a pencil, and so on.We have another world map of a similar size but that seems to better size and differentiate between these areas. However, it is a kids map and has pictures of local dress, foods, exports, etc. all over the map so we could not use it for the project. We had expected this map to be sized similarly.All said I'm sure it is a good map that is to scale (and likely why everything is so small compared to our other world map which may not be to scale), however, if you have a project that requires a more clear delineation between states, provinces, countries, etc. you may want to consider an alternate.

I got it to attach to a cork board to track all our families travels. It works for the purpose and looks nice on the wall.
