It fit my harbor freight rotary tool perfectly. Follow the directions, the shaft needs to be oiled!

This flex shaft was a good replacement for my Wen rotary power tool.

If you use it at a a sharp angle it will get very warm quickly. If used straightish it will get warm after an hour of use. It does work well and holds the parts very tight.

Bought to use only the cable in the flex shaft for my older Craftsman all-in-one tool and it fit perfectly. Saved a lot of $ and time trying to replace the flex shaft on my Craftsman.

Didn't notice that it didn't come with the driver cap that goes on the Dremel, Just assumed that this came with it. Useless to me until I buy the driver cap from someone else.Cant tell how well it works yet!Revising review 10/23/20 because I went ahead and bought the Dremel driver cap. Product still doesn't work because the square end on the inner flex shaft is too small and turns inside the driver cap. It will not drive the chuck to do work. I then replaced the inner shaft with a shaft made for a Dremel flex shaft and now it works. okay.I do not recommend this product.You are better off just buying the name brand flex shaft plus that has a better shaft lock also.

This is as good as most any flex shaft available. (The exception might be the two more expensive (and rightfully so) competitors that have the push-button rotation lock right on the pen...no 'L' tool needed.) Otherwise, it holds up well, runs true and doesn't overheat even with prolonged 'light' duty use. I haven't really put it under a strain, but I imagine it's characteristics would be similar to most others. I guess the two best things about it are the price and the cool name. No need to pay more for an almost identical product, of which there are many, and, gotta love a tool labeled 'Drilax'!

This could maybe be suitable for extremely light work on a very soft wood. BUT, nothing comparable to the reliability of the official Dremel shaft (which I had to buy again after purchasing this for my needs unfortunately).I wish I could leave a higher rating but while it is low cost, we get what we pay for.I do finer detail work, carving wood. The bits on this spin with slight shakiness. Unusable for fine details.I'm sorry I can't write a more appreciated review. But people need to know what to expect.

The flex shaft that came with my Dremel tool broke right away so I ordered this and it's been working great
