CatastrophiCreations 3-Tier Sisal Climbing Pole

Since we have an indoor cat, we wanted to get her something to allow her to climb, and preferably not our blinds! We purchased 3 items from Catastrophic Creations to make a little cat gym wall. The products look great on the wall, were relatively easy to install (we had some trouble with finding the studs, but that was an issue with our stud finder, not the product), and the cat has been loving zooming up the pole, jumping across to the hammock, down the ladder to another hammock, and then to the ground. I think they are made in the USA too, which is an added bonus. I took a photo to post, but don't see where to add it.

Cats are getting used to it. Moving them over. My only complaint is the material used for the rope. It's 100 percent fine for the cats they like it. It was just amongst the more awful experiences in terms of wear and tear on my hands. Outside of that incredibly minor esoteric critique, I love the catastrophic stuff. I have a 17.5lbs 13 old male street cat (I call him my elder statesmen), so my sturdiness requirements are on the higher end. He frequently comes sprinting into the living room, leaps into the air with all four paws spread and latches on before climbing the rest of the way up, and the post doesn't so much as shake. I have the 4' model and installed it straight into a stud. Hung on it myself to make sure it was ok (I am not a small human being 5'11" 200lbs) didn't budge. At this point I am convinced I could get one of my smaller friends to take a running leap onto it and it would be just fine.

I was skeptical that this would hold up to over time and 2 large cats, but 8 months later it’s still beautiful, the quality materials and craftsmanship make it a cat trapeze. It’s definitdly well loved by both the boys. we paired it with another catastrophic item and it’s worked out great.thank you for a quality product!

My cats love it and the design looks good on the walls

I have a large cat tree that the two cats love, but after a while, it's become more a staple furniture piece so this installed tonight the cats wasted NO TIME to climb & tease each other on it. This will be part of an overall play wall, I just haven't installed those yet. Very sturdy and easy to install! Thank you!

Great product

My cats love CatastrophicCreations, they are our Cat highway to all the wall in the house.The finish is really great and there is lots of attention to details. You don't need to worry about your cats weight. Mine mount their post in full flight and we have had never any problems.The one thing i would recommend though is to use different screws. Its a silly thing since a pack of decent screws from a hardware store is pennies compared to the cost of the pole.That's why i gave 4 instead of 5 stars ... just poor thinking

The cats loved the Sisal pole! Even before we put it up they started climbing and scratching.Assembly was really simple and the design is streamlined and minimal. We are in the process of planning an escape route now with other CatastrophiCreations products.

Quality is excellent, must have furniture for anyone who lives with Savannahs. Will definitely be purchasing more to add to the climbing wall !
