Works as replacement for halogen bulb
These work as a direct replacement for compact fluorescent bulbs - they were perfectly compatible with the particular ballasts in my kitchen.What I especially love about these bulbs is that they are perfectly shaped and sized compared to other G24Q bulbs. The base is super compact and the actual light part is flat and wide. This means light gets evenly spread without the light bulb peaking out of the recessed fixture. Compare that to pretty much every other G24Q out there that are too long and stick out of the fixture. Not only are those longer, skinnier bulbs ugly, they cause discomfort in your eyes because you can see the light bulb directly. But because the Euri G24Q is correctly sized and shaped, it is effectively hidden within the recessed fixtures while still illuminating the area under and around it.Very nice, Euri Lighting.
