Catalytic Converter Shield Guard, Fits Toyota Tacoma 2x4 Catalytic Converter Shield 2016-2022

It took me about an hour to install it. Im hoping this will prevent the thief to steal my catalytic converter.

Expensive but worth it

Was skeptical at first because of how big the product was. Good for the price, has done the job and was easy to install

Even though it Fits perfectly if you have a 2020 Tacoma that has 1 converter, thieves ended up stealing my resonator since they couldn't access the converter. I assume they thought it was a 2nd converter. I was told there is Not protection plate made for the resonator.

2017 Toyota Tacoma. 2 WD .Overall pleased with this product. I did run into some plastic clips (pictured) that were on the frame preventing a flush contact with the metal plate and frame. You will have to remove those to bolt the plate down. Other than that easy to install. After knowing two people that have had their catalytic converters stolen I had to act fast. Highly recommended.

If you own a tacoma 2WD like I do ....do not purchase......this shield does and can be installed on your vechical. However, IT WILL NOT PROTECT BOTH OF YOUR CATS ......it protects the primary cat 80% and the secondary cat is just out in the open all willy nilly.....I recommend Miller cat......it protects both cats ....hope this helps someone.....because now im stuck returning this piece of metal :)

Install was very easy, slow with one person only, lying on the ground. A shop with a lift could do it in minutes. Took me about an hour. Great peace of mind knowing my catalytic convertor is fairly safe. Product is very sturdy. Would recommend to my friends.

It fits my 2022 truck. So installation was a breeze.
