Tokidoki Pool Party Mini Backpack in Blue
D**!
A tactical gear fanatic's second Tokidoki backpack. And...
Summary below if you want a quick opinionSo for the people who don't know, I am a guy (yes, judge all you want), and I bought this pack after my first one (Mermicorno backpack) to get me out of the tactical gear bubble I am in (since I find Tokidoki cute). And after my relatively nice experience with the first one, I find this mini backpack... truly I don't even know how to describe, I will compare this one with my previous one (review included), you can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1454927607/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.Well let us start (I will try to keep it short), first of all:1) Arrival condition: 5/10When it arrived, I got myself a cute backpack, but then there are few problems (pic included):+ Zipper split upon arrival, took me a good 5 minutes and a slight panic to fix the problem+ Shoulder strap stained2) Uses: 1/10Like, I know that I am not going to use this extensively, even after I have considered the dimensions on the internet and looked at models with it. But upon arrival, like, I know that the main target demographics would be for females, but what am I supposed to hold and have any practical use with this? It can't even hold some books I have The first one made me accepted the minimalistic designs, as it is still serviceable as a school pack, but this? I truly don't know, maybe women have something that they can use this for, but this is definitely not for me.3) Build quality: 7/10Comparing to the Mermicorno backpack, the fabric feel and thickness is an improvement. For and the handle and straps are also an improvement, the straps are thicker, smoother and feel much more assuring to wear with. The straps connectors, adjusters are now more of a traditional design comparing to the Mermicorno, but since aesthetics are still prioritized here, it still flops around like the Mermicorno. But then I score this one the same 7/10 like the Mermicorno, as a few things that did better with the Mermicorno are dumbed down here. The zippers are now metal, and even if I ignore the fact that it is split upon arrival (which I fixed), using it is still not very pleasing (again, aesthetics prioritization). And while I did compliment the good rain protection on my last backpack, this one, has none. Your...whatever people use a mini backpack to hold, is going to get a nice soak in the rain. So yes, I find the general build to balance out and give me a mediocre experience.Oh and about the charm included, the quality is Funko POP grade, so it's fine.4)Design: 10/10It's just Tokidoki doing their job here, the prints are still crazy cute, it's even cuter with the included charm. And of all the complaints I have made, are again like the last pack, existant as functionality was sacrificed for cuteness and design (But that's fine, I don't use backpack the same way as most do). So yes, the design is still great (I will ignore the size)5) SummaryOverall, the pack while it will not serve me as good as I thought it would, it is still a nice pack and apart from the problems of the split zippers and stain, to the right demographic, perhaps you will enjoy it more that I do.+Problems upon arrival (Split zippers, stained)+No practical use thinkable+Build is mediocre+Design is still 10/10 for cuteness. Thanks for taking your time
