Bosch 0580254911 Electric Fuel Pump

Anhang der Artikelsuche diese Pumpen gefunden, die Originalen waren nun nach 30 Jahren leider beide undicht, Original war leider sehr teuer und die billigste für 30€ wollte ich nicht nehmen, da solch eine Undichtigkeit schnell zum Brand führen kann. Die Pumpen kamen gut verpackt und es waren sogar neue Kabelschuhe, Dichtkappen und ein Anschlussstück dabei. Es hat alles wunderbar gepasst und es ist dicht. Ich hoffe das bleibt auch die nächsten Jahre so.

It's a fuel pump, what do you want from it?

To be serious, there are a pile of crap electric fuel pumps out there pretending to be Bosch 911s, for cheap. Some have undersize inlets; others (experience talking) get loud and die rapidly with a service life measured in weeks or months. Do you need to be sitting on the side of the road, after replacing a fuel pump earlier? The original Kraut pump tends to go 20+ years, and gives noise before it goes. I've replaced several in family cars, and the Bosch units are now Czech or Hungarian, but all replacements are still in service ... which I cannot say for el cheapo substitutes from other places. Your choice.
