Smead Lockit® Two-Pocket Heavyweight Folder, Letter Size, Black, 25 per Box (87981)

I bought these folders to present materials for a new school that we started. I wanted to separate the materials into two categories: students and institutions. What I found was that in most folders this splitting of materials caused the sheets to shift around, get bent/wrinkled, and look sloppy. The tab at the top of these folders was such a simple solution to a problem I have to assume many people run into especially if they are carrying a number of folders at a time. I also felt that these looked very professional with a place to insert my business card. This was one of the only sturdy folders that allowed for a CD insert. This has become invaluable as a way to share audio samples of our classes or large files to potential students or business partners. If you are looking for a folder that is both professional and versatile you will be hard pressed to find a better choice.

I've been looking for some nice presentation folders to use for providing marketing type materials to clients that I meet with. These are perfect for that purpose!I don't use the CD compartment, but it's the perfect size for 4x6 photographic prints inserted vertically.So I put a stack of approximately 5 photos in that slot and a business card on the left.Works great, very happy with my purchase!

These folders do a great job at organizing paperwork combined with media which I use a lot in my videography business. I would give it a 5-Star if the material looked more elegant. It is of a matte finish and the black color seems a bit faded; making the folder seem on the cheaper side. Other than that I like them!

The product was received in time, the price was right and the functionality of the product was just what I was looking to use. The quality of the product left a little to be desired, but overall it worked.

Haven't used them yet but appears they will satisfy my needs. Will put clients' tax returns in them. Would be better if they were a little heavier stock.

These portfolios were worth every penny, I went to a makeup artist convention and I was able to easily pass out examples of my work, a DVD of a slide show of my experience, and my business card was perfectly displayed. The quality was great too, they looked professional.

I'm going to the SEMA auto show to promote my app Wheels ON. These folders are what I used to give out my information and sample promo material. Great smooth/rubbery texture and quality.
