Great break stick!

I’ve been playing pool for about 7 years off and on but didn’t get really serious until a year ago. Recently, I thought about purchasing a Jump Break cue and eventually came to this one. It caught my attention because of how cheap it was, so I bought it. It came about a couple of days after I got it, to my surprise when I opened the package, it had the cue, the glove and two joint protectors (not included). The cue is very straight, jumps and breaks like a pro. Super easy to jump with if you’re a beginner in jumping like me. Great cue, it came with useful accessories!

Straight to the point, this is a fantastic Break Cue if you do not yet own a break cue.Break shot is arguably the most important shot of a frame. So every serious player will inevitably have to practice this shot over and over again. This cue gets the job done and at a fantastic rate given the price of this cue. In fact, since I have became a much better breaker after practicing with this cue at the table, even when I am using a $300+ break cue, the difference is very minimal. Thus, my conclusion is, if you are in need of a break cue and are not an advance player yet, this would be perfect for you to start out.As for the jumping part, just treat it as a extra bonus. Don't think too much of this cue, you will probably need to buy a real jump cue one day. Nonetheless, it serves as a super beginner jump cue to mess around with.

The joint on this cue is sort of like a uni-loc but it is different. If you want to use the shaft or butt with another cue or butt that has a real uni-loc joint it will not work. So for me, the entire point of this purchase is money down the toilet... because they had to pretend they use uni-loc joints.

My Cousin ordered this for me and her Mom brought it here in Manila, Philippines.Great balance and finish [with Free Glove and adhesive (I surmised that this will be used should the tip falls off as mentioned in some of the product reviews here)].Breaks solildy as I took it to the Hall this morning for test hit/break...I don't usually do "jump shots" so no review on that, maybe later....

I use this at the Senior Center and everyone that uses it to break with comment on how good it breaks and the weight is prefect to break with. Especially for the price !

The tip is ok. It's a solid leather tip vs. a break tip, but it performed well. Gave me great 9-ball breaks until the handle snapped at the Jump/Break joint.
