I've tried so many different product. This one is dead simple and no moving parts. I just works. Perfect product IMO.

I travel a couple times a week for work and sometimes need to pull over and pull out my laptop to get some work done. With a mobile hotspot on my phone it's nice to just work in the car instead of going in somewhere and for shorter uses, it works perfectly. It fits between my seat and center console and when I need it I just pull it out and it sits right on the wheel, takes seconds. Positions the laptop at a good height, allows me to rest my elbow on the door arm rest, but I know that is car specific. It doesn't bounce when I type as I would have assumed given its method of attachment. I don't use it for more than an hour at a time and don't use it often, but for the convenience it allows me to work more efficiently in my car and not feel like pulling out my laptop in my car is such a burdensome task.

I tried 3 different wheel desks before finally trying this one that appears to have been built with quality. I tried other less expensive ones but easily bent. Another one came broken straight out of the packaging box. This one I am happy with and recommend despite the price. You get what you pay for as they say. I am using it on the steering wheel of a 2022 Ford Expedition and have used it both from top and bottom of steering wheel depending on my needs such as for laptop or simply using it for hand writing.

My back used to hurt trying to type with the laptop in the middle compartment and I had to twist my waist to access the keyboard. Trying to type with the laptop opened between the steering wheel and my stomach was also the hardest. Now I can’t live without this. So easy to type and do work while waiting for the kids’ soccer practice, tutoring session or just any waiting in the car. Cons: the edges are rough but I’m okay with that. But the edges are angled where it leaves a dent on my steering wheel. (see picture). picture is after 20 minutes of use. the dent stayed for about 2 days. I’m thinking the dent will be more permanent when the.board is used more frequently. I added foam pad where it hits the steaming wheel which solved the problem. (see picture) Overall, I can’t live without it with the job i have and 3 kids. BUT I would have searched for the plastic on for cheaper price. I’m thinking the edges on plastic ones are curved and smooth enough not to leave a mark on the wheel.

Works like a charm! Still use it on small jobs without a trailer and I work out of my truck!

Purchased this for my daughters who work from their car. They love it and use it every day. A great useful product with a great price.

My co-worker had one of these, I saw it and immediately wanted one. I went on line and looked at a lot of different models and manufacturers and nothing I saw equaled it. The simplicity of design was the selling point. There are lower cost options out there that offer more versatility however its functionality and durability meet all my needs. I plan to order a Second one to keep in my second car so I’ll always have it at the ready.

So easy to set and use! I often will use this as I am waiting for my kids after school. Great quality, the height on the workspace is perfect. It allows me to work from the car seamlessly!
