Excellent choice for a sub 60 dollar hiking boot
Boots held up very well to hiking for a week in Georgia and Tennessee. Fit was true to size and the waterproofing was tested by me on the hikes and they never let water get to the inside even when hiking through small creeks. Loads of traction too never let me slip even when wet and when climbing on small bolders. You would be hard pressed to find a better boot for the price.

For the price, not bad
I ordered the matte black pair and upon first glance, they looked good--not too tall and not too short. They don't look clunky, either. The product description says they're leather, but I'm not sure if I agree. Maybe they are and that's just the waterproofing material I'm feeling that gives them a slippery, vinyl-like feel. Overall, the fit and finish of them is decent.Anyway, my biggest gripe is the lacing. I REALLY had to crank on these to get them tight, which wouldn't have been a problem except that when I let go to tighten up the next row, the ones I'd just tightened loosened again. And back and forth I went. Also, the laces don't slide real easily through the eyelets, so I was a little concerned that I was going to rip one out--which is what another reviewer had mentioned happening.Once they were on, they were pretty comfortable. I wear a size 11 in just about every shoe/boot I own, and the fit of these, length-wise, was right on the money. And, they offer great ankle support once they're tied. There was a little extra room in the toe area (like my toes were in an airplane hangar), so I added an insole and that snugged everything up nicely.I bought them for riding my motorcycle, and it seems they will serve that purpose just fine. I'll see how the lacing situation goes; maybe the more I wear them, the less I'll have to crank on them.

One issue...and why I won't buy them again.
Overall I like how these boots fit, how they look, and the value for the money. One feature that I have not seen before is that the top hooks are closed up enough that the lace kind of snaps in when lacing and that holds the lace from loosening up as you attempt to do the loops to finish the act of tying the laces. What I do not like, and the reason I will not buy them again, is that when laced up and tied the laces go above the top of the tongue. This leads to the laces coming loose and then untied as the day progresses.

Great Boot for the price
I have worn these boots 3 times for late fall fishing trips. When launching our boat temperatures ranged from 10 to 15 degrees. I wore one pair of socks. My feet remained comfortable. Docks had been pulled out of the water so I had to beach the boat. Got out in 3 inches of water. My feet remained dry.

Love the boots, had to return them. We shall see how Customer service works here.
When I first got them they smelled something fierce, probably the water proofing - if I lived in California I am sure they would come with a warning that causes cancer in that state. Let them air out, and they were actually very comfortable. The only problem so far is the toe stitching is coming out I posted a picture. The boots are dusty, I have only worn them maybe 10 times in the 3 months i Had them. I only wear them on job sites that don't require steel toes. If I can get the replaced under the warranty they advertise then these will be a great boot. Stuff happens, and I get it. Now they need to honor their warranty.UPDATE: Contacted the warranty folks, sent me a new pair, other than the weird toe stitching, the boots fit well, warm and comfortable. I would buy them again, if these new boots hold up. Remember these are budget boots, and they work great as such. Pay more, get more.

Good for the Price
The boots wear well. They do not rub blisters or cause discomfort right out of the box. The waterproof feature is, in part, based on the tongue being a single attached piece that meets with and folds back from the two sides at the top gap. This is a common design and works well enough. However, I have a narrow foot and would expect the laces to close the gap more and the fold-back to be more pronounced. In reality the fold-back only bunches up a little because the gap is not vey big. Basically if you have a wide foot you may be in trouble. I'd go up a size. Also, the top metallic lace clips are far too tight. I have to force the laces into them. The grommets are also difficult to pull the laces through. Bottom line is it takes a minute to get these things on in the morning.I don't want to sound like these are not worth the money. Just know that you get what you pay for. The XPETI boots I bought previously were much more comfortable and easy to lace up - right up until they fell apart within a few months. These NORTIV 8 had better reviews and cost less. And so far they haven't fallen apart. A major plus in their favor.

There pretty dam good
These boots seem to be water resistant, I stood in lace high water and there's no water in my boots. The ankle is a little loose like the laces are a bit high but all in all for the price they're well worth it.

Pleasantly Surprised by Quality and Price
I was hesitant when I purchased these...just for the fact that my feet are challenging to buy shoes for and I'm usually have better "footing" if I actually try on the boots BEFORE purchasing. This time I "solely" (pardon the shoe puns) went off customer reviews and it paid off. The quality of the boots are very nice. Ideally, I would have liked ones with darker leather instead of the tan, but I can live with it. There was plenty of room to add an orthotic and then a green insole over the orthotic. I ordered a 10 (my size without orthotic) and it was still roomy enough for orthotics. With this in mind, I guess they run a little bigger then. The quality is amazing for a product that is labeled made in China. Supposedly they are waterproof, but I haven't had time to test this out yet. They are warm while walking around in snow. I'm pretty happy with them - and even moreso for the price that I paid for them. I highly recommend them.

Great - No need to size up
Initial view: nice walking boots, comfortable but will need some breaking in due to high and fairly ridgid ankle cuff.I used the size guide and instead of my usual size 9.5 picked UK size 9. Even these are bigger than expected so be careful you pick the right size and I wouldn't suggest ordering half a size up.Will update the review after a few weeks to confirm how they feel and stand up to daily hiking use.The design means the laces dont pull tight easily, expect this will mean the laces will wear quickly so made review overall 4 stars not 5

No recomendados
