Bought these for work as was fed up buying new shoes every few months. I liked these cos they are plain black, plus they work with a skirt or trousers.Originally they were a bit tight, I was worried I should have sized up(UK6 women’s normally) but after breaking them in, they are very comfy.I have had them for over a year now, and having worn them 5 days a week, they still look phenomenal. I bought them when they were on sales, so that is another bonus.

Fit a bit on loose side, thicker socks help. Chunky with thick soles which I like. Don't need safety boots these suit my requirements for work and social

I used to wear this style of Cat shoe for well over a decade until it appeared they had stopped making them. I had switched to a similar looking shoe from Skechers which was cheaper but not as hard wearing with the hollow sole wearing through and me walking about rattling with tiny stones that always seem to get sucked in. The Skechers seemed to be good for about 7-8 months of wear 5 days a week. When I saw this pair of Cats I was delighted as my old Cats used to last me year. This pair took a lot of breaking in at the heel way more than I recall previously with Cats and just when they started getting comfortable the heel on the right shoe wore through just as with the Skechers but in only around 3 months! I don’t recall my previous Cats having this issue no matter the wear and I assumed the soles to be solid rubber. Given the cost and lifespan it looks like I will be back to the Skechers.

Last pair lasted me 8 years.
