Exercise Physiology: Nutrition, Energy, and Human Performance

I usually do not write reviews because to do them well would take me a long time. I have 3 other exercise physiology books. This book is by far the best one. I learned about it from my Advanced Nutrition and Human Metabolism book by Gropper which is a superb nutrition book. I only wish I had known about this book before buying the others over the years. I highly recommend this book.

Great and latest research

While there is a lot of technical explanations, it is well-written and allows learning such a difficult subject attainable.

The most comprehensive textbook that is out there, a must to have!

Quality of book is as described but cover is different. Seems to be the same book but for some reason has a different cover. I had to check with my professor to see if it would be acceptable for the course.

Exactly what I needed. Professor said it's a book that I will keep to reference for a long time. I am currently reading from it and describes everything that you need to know

This book didn't come wrap in plastic but it is indeed a new book. For the price that I bought it for it was well worth it!

The book description said that it was new but the book came with significant shelf wear and a dented corner. It was not a shipping problem since the box was undamaged.

Pros: Arrived quickly Well priced Nice illustrations On line activation code included, easy to set-up Cons: End of chapter questions are all multiple choice and not overly useful for helping you study The study questions are also online which can be inconvenient.
