Oh Say Can You Seed? All About Flowering Plants (The Cat in the Hat's Learning Library)

Although my two daughters are a bit too young to understand the more scientific side of this book, there are plenty of ways to explain it in a way that toddlers can somewhat understand and have a basic knowledge of seeds and gardens etc. I have never been so impressed with the vibrant, fun, and detailed illustrations in any Dr. Seuss book. Every page was colorful and beautiful really. I look forward to watching my 2 and nearly 3 year old grow up with books like this one that they will slowly but surely acquire more knowledge from.

I loved this for my kids. Who doesn’t enjoy Dr. Seuss books. As a kid I enjoyed them and it made my heart over joyed at the fact that my kids enjoy these books all the same. The book arrived on time and was purchased brand new. No complaints

Cat in the hat learning library books are quickly becoming my 3 year olds favorite. All of these books are great for a child who is curios and wants to learn about these. This was especially great after we planted our garden by seed, she was very interested in the book because she could relate. Not a bad read and a tad less hard to understand than some others we have read. Great info on the parts of the seeds and how they germinate etc. Would be great in a classroom.

Learn about seeds! Good book…

Full of information about the growth, parts and functions of plants. It's great for preschoolers who already read well on their own or who are often read to, because it is truly a head start on the tools they will be given to learn with in school (textbooks). I think this book is great for older children and adults who love Seuss as well. We love this book in my house and this was the second time buying it (the first one had an unfortunate accident) and as well we have purchased other Cat in the Hat Learning Library books as a result of our enjoyment with this one and are not disappointed with any of them.

I read this to my first grade class when we were learning about seeds and the plant lifecycle. It has s a great book. It is very informative and covered everything we were learning in great detail. If anything, it went into too much detail, so I skimmed over some of the text because of short attention spans. This would be great for 2-4th graders. It is a science text, it is not the typical Dr. Suess book.

Not "actually" written by Dr. Suess, I don't believe.But, captures the style, and delivers the information.Just not quite as clever or playful as classic Suess talesWould capture the attention and interest of kidlings, say 7-12, especially if they are already "hooked-on-Suess".

My 6 year old is obsessed with cat in the hat so this was PERFECT 😍

I love this book. As a teacher, I have used it often for lessons in the past and I am so glad to now have my own copy. Children learn so much vocabulary from it each time.

The book focuses more on rhymes than on content. I have a lot other books of the Cat in the learning series. But this one isn't at par with the rest of the books.
