Good utilitarian line.
Strong stuff for many uses. This is a stout, stiff line; not flimsy. It smells of tar or creosote and it will dirty your hands but somehow you trust that it will do the job.

This twine is great, in many uses better than paracord
This twine is great stuff. I've used this number seventy two twine for over twenty years for lanyards to attach tools to my diving harnessIt is about one eighth inch in diameter, nearly indestructible and best of all you can splice it. I usually put an eye splice on to the tool and another on to a snap clip to attach to my harness. After the splice is done I trim back the ends to about an eighth of an inch and melt them smooth into the twine. It makes a good looking lanyard, very secure and can be adapted to any use you can think up.

72, Works well, but not universal.
Specifically for the 72, this works well for almost any task that you ask of it. The reason I only gave it three stars is that in order to get to 72 lb test, it is fairly weighty and large, about the size of paracord. I wouldn't suggest someone does not get this, I would just suggest that they weight the benefits of a heavier test vrs what they intend to haul around and get a lighter option.

Good Cordage!!
I am building an Altoids tin survival kit. I purchased this twine (72) for this kit. I did not know how big it is, and I will be ordering some smaller twine. This is good cordage, and I think I will use it to wrap around the altoids can. Then again, it does smell so that may not happen. Anyway, I am not going to give a bad review because of the lack of my knowledge. I am sure I can find a use for it, and it is good quality cordage. I would recommend this line; however, I would not recommend if for a small survival kit.
