These rings are met for 1 inch outside diameter flagpoles. This is our "Long" version of these rotating rings. This helps limit the carabiners from coming into contact with the set screw as much. Our carabiners are made of chrome plated steel. Rings have a rotating anti-wrap feature that spins 360 degrees which allows the flag to move independently from the flagpole. This helps to limit the flag from wrapping around the pole. Works on any standard 1" flag pole. WHAT THIS MEANS IS THE OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF THE FLAGPOLE IS 1 INCH. Junk!
More Made in China junk! Doesn't work! Was using zip ties before, lasted for two years without failure! Had a neighbor who had plastic ones. Said he loved them. I figured, more expensive would mean "more better". Wrong! Thumb screws snag the flag. Swivels don't swivel if they are at an angle. Had to put a lot of slack in the flag just to make the bottom one work. Presentation looked horrible! Had they put teflon spacers in the swivel, it might work better. The only way I see these working is if the flag hangs straight down. Went back to the zip ties!(Right photo)

Buy this and not the cheaper plastic rings...
Works much better than the plastic rotating mounting rings and does not break as the plastic have for me. The design is better and less likely to catch the linkage hardware. We live near a Great Lake and the winds are brutal at times of the year. We love to display our American flag but hate it when it tangles, these rotating rings solve the problem. The plastic rings broke over time (not a surprise due to the high winds) but these metal rings are rock solid. This is the exact product for your needs.

Best Flag Rings I've Ever Used
I've been through a lot of types of flag mounting rings over the years, and these are far and away the best I've used. The flag tangles far less than with any other type, they mount securely to the pole, and the flag attached easily to the rings. Great product, and I highly recommend them.One suggestion: I recommend lubricating these with household oil (3-In-1, for example) for almost flawless performance.

Waste of money
The package came opened and the clips were not included. I then alerted Amazon and they sent me the clips. The clips are not aluminum or stainless steel so they are now rusted, and put rust stains on my flag. Also my flag still gets caught and tangled up so these things do not work. I tried using silicone to lube them but the problem still exists.Don't waste your money!

Great product that allows Old Glory to freely fly
Before installing the "Aluminum Metal 1” Silver Rotating Flag Mounting Rings Long" my previous flags would always end up wrapping around my homemade flagpole, get caught on the hardware and eventually shred. After installing the Flag Mounting Rings my flag flies and rotates freely. It is a beautiful sight to behold.

Great Product
Not sure of the country where this product was manufactured. Wish it had been in the US like our flags and poles. This product had proven its durability during one of our camping trips. During one of the evenings, High winds of 25+ mph blew through the RV campsite. Old Glory never wrapped or tangled on the flagpole.
