Antep Rugs Oriental 4x6 Traditional Medallion Indoor Area Rug Siesta (Black Beige, 3'11" x 5'11")

The color scheme of our living room is very earthy.. green couch, yellow wallpaper and lamps, with shades of brown black or taupe. Our couch is an actual vintage couch, so it was originally an emerald /jade green 70 years ago, but now it has faded into a glorious vintage, silvery green. I love our couch, and it is the focal point of the living room.After much consideration and hours of thoughtful contemplation for which kind of rug we might want to have in our living room, we landed on these rugs. At first, I thought we wanted black for a dramatic effect. When we receive the black rugs, they were beautiful and very soft and nice quality. Unfortunately, I very quickly realized the black pattern was too busy and dark for the room. Thankfully the black looked great with the 8x10 in our bedroom and the 6x9 in the dining room, so we kept them, but we still needed to figure out a new plan for our living room rugs.I had been eyeballing the green before I bought the black, but hesitated because I was keenly aware of the review debate about the true color of green I would receive. Armed with the knowledge that these are at least a decent quality rug, and the peace of mind, knowing I could really return it if I wanted to, I decided to just go for it and purchase the green. Not only do we have no regrets now, but I can report back that the green rug is definitely a light mint / sea foam / faded emerald green color.My pictures make it look darker than it really is and I think that is what is going on with the manufacturer photos as well. It’s a difficult color to photograph, but if you can set your trust issues aside, and believe all of us who told you it is a lighter green. It really is a great color and it has this calming vintage patina look to it that is spectacular. I already feel more calm. Just looking at it for 20 minutes.I also have another interesting observation to share with you. We purchased a black 8 x 10 and green 8 x 10. We also purchased the same colors in 6 x 9. Four rugs total. What I noticed right away on my foot is that the 8 x 10 rugs are not as soft to the touch, as the 6 by 9s are. Overall it’s not a big deal, but just thought I would mention it. I suppose if somebody is really concerned about things like that, this is where you would want to pay more money for a more consistent quality.Overall, we are really happy with these rugs and I’m sure they will be enjoyed it for many years to come. Arrived timely and actual colors and pattern matched web photos. Medium thick pile feels feels good on bare feet. Only negative is it was rolled so tightly for shipment that it took almost a week to flatten and the inner edge still lifts even after applying a length of carpet tape. Combine this continuing edge lift with the overall thickness of the rug, I’d be concerned for trips/falls if placed in the path of an aged family member. For us it was the perfect accent piece

I’d say this is better in softness then i expected, I expected it to be hard and probably would not like it but turns out to be nice and soft enough, and the color is nice too

These rugs are very nice very durable and very large I really like the way they cover my front room floor over the top of my new carpet

This is a beautiful rug and it's soft, not cheap feeling. I really like the rug and the only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I haven't had it long enough to say if it holds up well. I have two large Dobermans in the house, so time will tell.

Beautiful Rug, was wrapped much too tight, about 6" in diameter when it arrived. Made it hard to get rolled out good. Bought 2, the 2nd one we laid upside down for 2 days, that helped. Will have to use tape to hold corners down.

This rug exceeded my expectations. I can’t believe how soft it is. I ordered the black rug and was worried the brown tones would be too yellow, they are not. It’s very pretty and exactly what I was hoping for. The edges flattened out within a few hours, which was great because new rugs usually take days to flatten out. Definitely recommend buying this if you’re thinking about it.
