This is a nice little kitty fountain and definitely motivates my cat to drink more water, I have to add water to it almost daily (I ONLY HAVE 1 CAT! 😱) and he gets quite impatient when I take it away for cleaning, almost as impatient as when he's waiting for his next mealtime.I really like to consider overall usability when I'm reviewing products and I docked one whole star because of 2 minor (non)issues1) the Min/Max fill lines are on the back of the fountain, where the cord comes out (I doesn't matter where your from, the cord comes out of the BACK) and it can only be assembled in 1 specific way. It would be much more user friendly if these markers were on the front, or maybe on both of the sides.That alone might still earn this product 5 stars (because it really is great!), but...2) I saw many reviews complaining about leaking fountains and, in the product description here on Amazon, it states that you have to soak the filter before using it (this allows water to pass through quickly as it's already saturated). This information was, inconveniently, left out of the included instructions.

My hoity toity cat refused to drink peasant water. If it was not running it was not good enough and he would make everyone aware of that it was beneath him to drink water from a standard bowl.The faucet would always have a drup going for his highness, but sometimes that was not good enough either. With this fountain however he will now sit and drink his heart merry and then looks at his food bowl with discontent like the food should be moving as well. Perhaps that's why he sneaks out the pet door with my dogs and brings back live creatures and deposits them at my feet.He is content and I don't have to keep the faucet running all the time. Filters need to be rinsed well before presenting them in the filter.

My cats definitley drink more water from this and you only have to refill maybe like once a week. it was little confusing to assemble at first but after rereading the instructions I managed to do it. The fountain has to stay plugged into a wall for it to give the fountain effect which I would've preferred it be wireless, so make sure you have extra plugs to connect the usb to, and there is NO noise so that's great.

I found the water evaporates faster in this machine compared to our old one, or maybe the tank is smaller. Either way, works good and is super quiet! Only thing is I wish it had a light inside like our old one.

This is a good fountain for the price. It makes zero noise. I have a super senior cat that likes to hear water trickling and I could not get it to make any noise whatsoever. She got used to it already after 3 weeks. This was my second attempt to have her use a fountain as a senior cat. I've been putting her up on our kitchen sink to drink water from the water faucet. It took about a week for her to realize no more getting up on the kitchen sink. I recommend this fountain.

I am on my fourth cat water fountain now. This one is definitely my favorite becuase i can see the water level and it is silent, while all others get really loud especially when they get low on water. That is not the case with this one.

This unit is nice and portable, and easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. My only complaint is that the water level markings (high and low) are on the back side of the unit where they can't be seen. I'll put some masking tape along the side and make my own markings.

I love this fountain. I have a dog who’s about 14 inches tall. I needed something that’d last her a couple of days since i work longer shifts now. It took her a little while to warm up to it but with lots of encouragement she used it and uses it consistently. It’s very quiet which is amazing. Wouldn’t recommend for any tall/ large breed dogs since it’s low.
