Happy Birthday to You, You Belong in a Zoo Paperback – Illustrated, 23 January 2007

My grand-daughter loves Gilbert and Friends. She will sit on my lap and just put her head on my shoulder and be so calm and sleepy sometimes over the stories. She is in first grade and reads on a third grade level because of my reading to her over and over again. The books are the best quiet time for grand-mothers and grand-children.

There's so much talk about bullying these days, which often gets confused with kids just being mean. Not all mean kids are bullies. The important thing kids need to learn is how to BE a good FRIEND. She has a gift explaining that.

I'm a speech therapist and use these books regularly in therapy for reading comprehension. And all of the kids love the different holidays/themes.

Up to the authors ‘ usual standard and surprisingly twists.

My daughter loves reading this book and many others by the same author. Great pick for first graders and 2 graders.
