These mugs are stunning! I love how simple but unique they are. They came packaged in a beautiful box and came with a matching bag for gifting! The spoons are just as pretty and match well with the gold on the mugs. I love the lids as well so that you can keep it your beverages warm! I was a little disappointed in the “Mr” being a tad faded but it’s not that bad so I’ll live. I can’t wait to use these!! These would be perfect for a newlywed couple though.

This set is very charming and comes in a nice gift box. Great presentation, perfect for gifting. This set is particularly nice because it’s not barware, which is not always an appropriate gift yet tends to be the easiest to find.

These are really beautiful coffee mugs - perfect for giving to a new couple. They come with a cover and a cool spoon to mix your drink. Well made and heavy. It's already wrapped and ready to give as a gift!

These two mugs/cups (if you prefer) make a nice gift for any couple other than a newly wedded one. I say this because for a newly married couple I believe that fine bone china is warranted not ‘mugware.’ However, I guess there are exceptions to my rule of wedding or shower gifts regarding fine china.As far as these two mugs go, they are beautiful, beautifully made, not gaudy which sometimes this type of china can be as different gifts to my wife and I have received can attest to, and well made as such that the glaze will not crack causing the pottery’s toxicity to be brought to the surface. If that seems a little odd we had been given a set of dinnerware made of clay from Mexico that was hand painted that we used when serving Mexican food to dinner guests. The glaze used on one of the plates cracked under heat and the clay used was toxic and our dinner guest was poisoned from that toxicity level in the plate’s clay. However, the pottery used in these cups will not have this problem, ergo, my claim to being well made holds true.They are also very nicely presented in a nicely decorated box and can be wrapped as a gift without purchasing another box. The cups did well holding boiling water I used for hot tea and performed just as well for coffee at195º F.As a gift for a couple or just a purchase for yourself, these cups are a great buy and should last a long time even if put in the dishwasher but not the microwave. These are not microwaveable because of the gold lettering used on the cups. To complete the gift set, there is added two tall spoons and two matching tops to cover the mugs/cups mainly to retain the heat or cold from the beverage.I rated these mugs/cuts with a 5-star for durability on the basis of appearance and the lack of bling and ceramics added onto the mugs/cups which could easily wear away possibly cause external weakness to them and eventually damaging the structure of the cups.I would finally describe the mugs/cups as well made, tastefully decorated and a nice gift for a wedding shower, wedding anniversary, housewarming, or other similar celebration. Recommended.
