This laser was purchased for my M&P Shield. My husband had ordered his M&P Shield with the Crimson Trace believing he was getting the best. I suggested I didn't need to spend as much for my laser and reading the review for the ArmaLaser I believed this should work quite well for me. My husband now wishes he had the ArmaLaser!! You cannot see the Crimson Trace laser in the daylight but YOU CAN SEE THE ARMALASER IN DAYLIGHT!!. I love the on/off switch and touch contacts on the ArmaLaser. You cannot go wrong with this laser!

Great laser, I purchased this directly from Armalaser at a local gun show several months ago. The installed the laser on my weapon free of charge at the show.The Good:The laser has amazing range, have been able to see the laser at least a half mile away.Easy to Zero. Getting the laser zeroed was quite easy using a bore site laser, and I have it set to about 10 yards. I can now put my shots directly on target with much more accuracy for my 9mm shieldTotally automatic, there is no switch to fiddle with, as soon as you grip the gun the laser is onThe Bad:I have attempted several times to switch the laser to pulse mod using the screw adjustmentI have had to retighten the laser several times as the switch stops working on occasion, this only takes a few seconds to do. I don't want to lock tight the screws in case I decide to sell the gun or transfer the laser to a new weapon.

Easy install
Very easy to install, to use, and a great product. I am not a huge laser guy, but not having to press a button to turn on the laser is amazing. Why not have a little bit better accuracy if you have to fire in an award position right?

Instant on, very bright laser.
I purchased this directly from OpticsPlanet a vendor that also sells through Amazon.This laser is amazingly bright, and easy to install. While it does take a tool to remove the battery door, it can be done without removing the laser to replace the batteries. So once it's sighted in, it stays that way. The great feature about this laser is the instant on as soon as you grab it. There is a sensor on the bottom of the trigger guard that activates it immediately. There is also an on/off switch too if you prefer that method. I had a Veridian green with the ECR but the auto on never worked for me.The downside is there are fewer holster manufacturers that make holster for the gun and laser, but it is still worth having this model
