My Indie Tortie cat loved this during its pregnant days. When she was admitted to Hospital for a complication(She fell from 2nd floor when pregnant and her womb ruptured), the resident cats and dogs also loved it in the hospital. However I have concerns regarding the thickener being used. Fancy Feast should mention the exact ingredient being used as thickener and also the Caramel color. If it is Carrageenan being used as Thickener, then it is not desirable as it is known to cause digestive issues. My tortie didnt eat this while in Hospital or when she is sick but will eat Farmina Kibbles lavishly. My cat is very Intelligent and intuitive to know which food is good for her at what times.Also it comes in Aluminum cans with polymer inner coating which are prone to dentsCiting these concerns, I have now shifted to AppLaws. Of Course AppLaws are way too expensive but they dont use thickeners to make the food pleasing and come in Strong Steel Cans which don't dent easily

She starts acting crazy and sprinting as soon as use the click sound with can opener. Only thing is that this food can only be given every once in a while. Can not be used as a regular food (mentioned on the packet itself)

She loves the chicken flavour more but she enjoys this as well. Even though she is very picky in terms of food. She loved all flavours of this brand.
