Best hay online
Me and my 4 special needs buns are very picky about our hay and have tried every brand out there. Although we do prefer hay from our local feed store because we buy in bales - we do love Andy’s. This hay is best you can get online especially compared to all other brands - which are basically garbage. This hay is very green, fresh and fragrant. Minimum amount of brown and not a lot of dust. Its also nicely cut in the box and organized in layers so its easy to take it out without producing lots of unusable pieces.Beautiful hay, highly recommended.

The guinea pigs like it
There is a lot of hay in this box. It's well compacted inside, there's a lot more than you think there is. It is green and it smells fresh and my guinea pigs seem to like it. They certainly gobble it up quickly. Even at their rapid consumption rates this box will last more than a month. The hay pieces are a bit long, but that's no different than some other brands I've used. There are lots of seed heads and not too much dust so far (though I'm nowhere near the bottom of the box). I like to mix some of each from the first and second cuttings for my guinea pigs. Price wise it's comparable to what I usually purchase. It's been all hay so far, no foreign matter or dirt.

Looks and smells fresh-Easily consumed by guinea pig-Ample supply
I am familiar with a large variety of Timothy Hay choices as I have worked with small animals in the past. I was taught what to look for in Timothy Hay. First cut hay is generally good for rabbits and can be used for other small animals but is harder and not as soft and nutritious. Although my guinea pig actually enjoys it because it has more seed heads. This is a very compact box and I have used it for several weeks and have only dented the surface. It will many months. The hay smells fresh and looks fresh. I have not experienced dust or small shoots and scraps as I have with other brands. This usually occurs at the bottom of the box and I am not near there yet. I like it so far and do find it to be a premium choice based on my experience with Timothy Hay.

Seemed promising
I've tried a number of "premium" hay brands over the years. And to be fair, they all had their fair share of inconsistencies in quality across the board. This one is no different. Upon opening the box, you are greeted with quality hay. But then, you will find that there are layers of thick dust in-between layers of good hay. The dusk is probably enough to make up a third of the box. It is so bad, that when I lift the hay up, I can see clouds of dust rising and I have to cover my nose.I would not be surprised if all the hay companies have colluded to include a portion of dust in all their boxes so that consumers don't really experience much difference switching. Which is the reality. This has been a disappointing first experience from this company.

Worst hay
I gave this hay a second chance after the first boxes had some mold. I’ve bought hay for horses, cattle and small animals all my life. This was extremely dusty and again showed signs of mold. Would not recommend.

My rabbit loves this stuff
My son found a rabbit. He was hiking with some of his friends and there was a rabbit on the trail - it ended up following him half a mile back to the car. Turns out somebody had released their pet rabbit when they couldn't take care of it anymore - and that's how we became a rabbit family. We named him Mushi. In learning how to take care of our new addition we came across this hay. Mushi loves it - eating it, rolling around in it, and burrowing in it. It seems fresh? I don't really know how to tell if hay is fresh. I do know it doesn't have any mold in it, and it smells good. Between that and the happy rabbit, it gets 5 stars from me.

Great hay.
My Guineapigs loved it! Very fresh and it's nice that it wasn't just a box full of dust, which I've dealt with with some other brands. They did a great job of including just the stuff animals like eating and yucky bits. Very much worth the price when they provide such high quality hay.
