Guitto Guitar Humidifier 2-in-1 Humidity Care System for Acoustic Guitar Humidifier Hygrometer GHD-03

As others state the hydrometer leaves much to be desired on accuracy of the actual humidity. But I found that the device has NOT leaked any water in my guitar, and the way to fill the sponge is a joke with the supplied bottle. I use a 10mL syringe with NO needle attached, slowly pushing 5mL in each side of the device and I am usually good to go for 7 days at a time as long as I keep my guitar in the case when not playing it.

As far as I know it works great. I like the gauge, but it dries out fast. Of course I live in the deserts of Arizona so its pretty dry here, but having to check on it every couple of days gets annoying. I think I'll just put a sponge in a baggie to "supplement" the humidifier.

Where to begin ? Ok so I’m not fake reviewer just get that out of the way .I have 3 of units 2 with spring clip and I just ordered 3 more . The other one is the side Mount unit in the sound hole which I’m not a fan of because it’s not secure and can fall off .So my home has humidity difficulties. Lol I noticed when I bought the two spring clip units the readings were off . Compared to my digital units the which also were off but not as much . 10 points or less . I wasn’t happy seeing this so I looked into adjusting them but couldn’t find any how to’s on this particular unit .As my search of web went on I found a video that shows how to test humidity meters for accuracy. The test is take a cap off a plastic jug add TSP table salt a bit of water to make a slurry don’t make it to saturated or watery . Put in a zip lock bag with the meter seal it up wait 24 hours or it could of been 12 I forget . LolThe meter should read 70% after testing these and my digital meters the all ran very close to if not 70% .One of these unit here was off by 5 points . I can live with that . Now a expert needs to explain the weird readingsor maybe there not weird ?Prior to the test they all read something different less two meters that were only off by a few points . These units were all next to each other so I’m confused on how the salt test resulted in accuracy but left on the counter all in the same area they read different. It’s just something your head wouldn’t come to terms with unless you knew there were space time bubble humidity anomalies floating around . LolOk so they work if you get one do the test if their it’s close just note the difference if it’s close enough .I have this my very expensive guitar and it’s fine no scratches but know it doesn’t take much to get light scratches between contacts just keep the area clean .My only real concern is a possible reaction between the rubber pads and nitro cellulose lacquer finishes . I didn’t see this mentioned in the product info so I just look out for any type of reaction . I’ll try to inquire about this to the manufacturer.So I have three more coming .Now one last thing !!!!!! Check what type of case you have ! Some cases like my poly foam case closes right top of the strings and will not accommodate the gauge ! Im not sure if all hard cases are same so worth checking !Ok that’s it . 😊

Me gusto que se ve bien construido, es un poco grande para mi guitarra clásica y debo mover la cuerda para meterlo. El higrometro funciona aunque no se que tan exacto sea porque no tengo otro con el cual compararlo, se que funciona porque se mueve. Pasando a sí funciona, si funciona mi guitarra tenia problemas de resequedad lo puse y al siguiente día la madera había cambiado de color y sonaba mejor.
