Bug Zapper Light Bulb, 2 in 1 Mosquitoes Killer Lamp Led Electronic Insect & Fly Killer, Porch Light for Entryway, Doorway, Corridor, Balcony and Patio

The packaging wasn't that great and I automatically thought to myself that this light was not going to work. But I was very surprised when 2 nights later I noticed that the barrage of bugs that normally would attack our porch lights was alot thinner. We don't have to fight them when we open the door to go in or out now! The light itself screws into a regular light socket and its also got this nifty feature where you can control the brightness of the light by flipping the light switch on and off. And even if you have it on one of the dimmer setting, it still does its job. Although I like the pretty blueish purple light so we always keep it on bright. But this was a well made bug zapper that works just as it should and also has some awesome features. This is an investment you won't regret especially if you live out in the sticks like I do.

I was skeptical based on some of the negative reviews. But I still bought one and wanted to try it out. To my surprise, it actually worked very well, both the LED light and the zapper. I left it out overnight, it attracted a lot of little insects from ankle bitters to small moths. You can see it from the picture, how many bugs it zapped in one night.This light/zapper has three modes: full-bright+zapper, half-bright+zapper and zapper only (no LED light).I am going to buy another one!!

Glad I ordered two. One arrived with the light not working, plain box with zero padding and pretty safe bet it got tossed around in the Amazon trucks as it got to me. Manufacturer packaging was just a box for a light bulb. That alone giving it a 3 star rating. The other bulb I got thankfully made it and was functional and works. The bug zapper on the broken one still works at least so that's something I can still use.

This was a very easy lightbulb to screw into my lamp. That's about all the perfection I got out of it. For a few nights (maybe not even a week), the zapper was working and I was only using it at night. I know I still had flies in my house, but by day 5 or 6 they were just amusedly flying around the pale blue light and not getting zapped. The lightbulb needs to be stronger in brightness (lumens) and the zapper should work longer than a week to be sure. I don't regret buying this as it led me to buying something better (an actual stand-alone pest killer with two fluorescent-type bulbs that has been working better...and brighter).

Worth it

This light is blue compared to the former Philips dusk to dawn lightbilb I was using. Blue light attracts more bugs. I thought no big deal, because this will attract then kill them. Well the blue light looks really unsightly and it only kills maybe 10% of the bugs. The bugs it does kill don’t slip right off like it’s designed so they are all trapped around the bulb. This becomes an issue because the bulb has to constantly be screwed in again because it is so sensitive to any knock like the door nearby being shut that it will come undone and turn itself off. It’s too late to return this, so I have to just throw it away. Overall it’s a very cheap feeling, not functional, bad looking product.

Works great. I don't know what else everyone is talking about on these reviews. It killed a ton of bugs. Pictures I posted are only after one night. You can see all the dead bugs stuck inside. Only down side is you have to clean it all the time. And the light is very bright, the two brightness settings I don't think work on mine because both seem exactly the same brightness, no big deal for me. It kills a lot of bugs, thats all i care about.

It arrived with the led dome not attached, had to put it together (shipping damage?). It’s been on a few days in bug zapper mode and getting a build up of bugs on it so it works as advertised. It’s large and not pleasant to look at because of the design but it seems to work.
