Shiseido Maquillage Edge Free Eyelash Curler & Refill Set (Made in Japan)

It came with another item and that item was huge and heavy, so it crush the curler box open and the curler was outside its box upon arrival. But thank goodness the curler was not broken.I was on the hunt for a curler that'll actually curl my asian eye lashes. I bought the shu and this one. Both curl my lashes and I am so happy I spent the extra dollar. The shu gave me a more natural curl but it doesnt get my outter and inner lashes as well as the shiseido since it's more curvy. But it's ok because one of my eye is bigger than the other. So both work well. I'm happy. 4 star for this one becuz it's edge free and suppose to curl outter and inner lashes but it clasp my skin whenever I try to curl the end lashes. So I'll have to be extra careful.*Updates*I ended up returning this item. It was good, but not great for my eyes. It was too narrow and kept clipping my lid. The shu really did it for me.

I read the reviews and had concerns that I would not get an actual Shiseido curler but a fake one. I'm still not sure I paid for a knock off or the real deal because no where on the instrument is the brand name Shiseido. Maquillage is printed on the curler but that doesn't tell me much. It works fine. Not much pinching of the skin. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not entirely convinced this is a real Shiseido product.

This is the one that I’m going to stick with.Great for Asian eyes. Just can’t get the corner lashes - Arrrgh!

Not what I ordered! This was not cheap $30 and I expected to receive Shiseido brand BUT only the box said that name- the actual eye lash curler/box says Maquillage!!!

I have no idea why this lash curler gets any good reviews. It does not even work as well as the drugstore brands like Revlon and Tweezerman. I really wanted it to work but it is absolutely a waste of money!

Unfortunately, my eyes swelled & itched after using the curler.In the past, I have purchased a Shiseido curler at a local store and it was fine.Very sad I could not use this one.
