Solid and Well-Designed Belt
My favorite thing about the Mission belt is that they designed it so the ratchet release lever has to be opened outward to disengage. A previous ratcheting belt I owned was the opposite, so if you bumped into a table or counter-top the wrong way it would pop the belt open - not a thing you want to have happen if you've got your hands full in the sink washing dishes or a tray of food you just pulled out of the oven.

Mission Belt
This is one quality belt! So easy to use! Did i say quality!! This belt is fantastic. Only issue I’ve had is when i sit it seems sometimes it comes loose just a little bit. It could be because my body shape presses on the release lever when i sit. It might not be a mechanical issue therefore i still give this belt 5stars out of 5

holy cow absolutely phenomenal
I'd been curious about these belts for a while after seeing them advertised online somewhere. Was excited to try them out when I saw they were available on facebook. Honestly, I am so impressed, just a fantastic belt. The quality of both the belt and the buckle are wonderful. The belt is a fairly thick nylon. I've seen some reviewers state that its too thick for shorts but I've not had that experience. I've been wearing a green one with shorts all summer. Great! The buckle is awesome and solid. Took me a few tries to understand how the release mechanism works, but now I'm a pro.My normal pant size is like 33 or 34. I decided to buy a large belt, just didn't want to get one that was too small and have to send it back. The large size was probably a little too long. No problem though. It was easy to undo the belt, cut off about two inches from the end and stick it back in the buckle. I would probably order a large again in the future for that reason.

Nylon belt - An excellent belt with 2 caveats.
Nylon belt-So far I really liked the belt, but I gave it a 4 star for two reasons. I needed to cut the belt to length which I was expecting, but when I did the nylon fabric started to separate from the plethar due to how it was stitched. Once it was cut the stitching (the nylon to plether) just came apart with extreme ease, so I melted the nylon and put the belt in the clamp and clamped it down, I hope it holds. The clamp/buckle looks very good and very well made. Without a doubt, it will last longer than the actual belt. The second reason for a 4 star is that as expensive as the belt is I was hoping for better than a pleather backing. Other than that I am extremely happy with it. If you don't care about these things consider it a 5 star, I think the rachet system works very well, and because it's a bit wider and less flexible than my old nylon belt it does a great job of holding my pants up with no slipping. I would buy it again at this time.

Great belt system
This is our second Mission belt. First one was received as a gift. This one was purchased for a work uniform. The belt ratcheting system is unique and securely holds the belt in place without loosening. We bought the extended size to allow us to cut the belt to the correct size. The end that is affixed to the buckle is held in place securely. The free running end has the plastic insert that the ratcheting system utilizes to secure the belt in place. There is a small release mechanism under the belt buckle that releases the belt effortlessly when activated. The belts may seem pricey, but given the fact there are no holes in the belt that stress or fatigue over time and shows no signs of wear and tear like most traditional belt systems, the belt should last for several years. The belt is the perfect width to allow most cell phone carriers and holsters to remain in place. Mission offers several different color combinations that would lend themselves to most fashion styles. We plan on purchasing more of the Mission belts in the future.

Awesome work belt
I’m a mechanic in a factory and carry about 10lbs of stuff in me every day including my radio and a knife on the belt and this has held up great with over a year and a half of abuse on it. Crawling around getting caught on stuff and it’s barely stretched. I’ve had other $30-$40 leather belts break or stretch and distort badly in less than 6 months. I’ve recommended these to multiple guys at work. Great work belt!

Works well! Haven’t tried the weight limits of the buckle but it’s holding up , casual and yard work

Skookum as frig
Been using for nearly a year now my pants have not fallen down even with my tools. Great for fine adjustment, as a skinny guy did have to cut an inch or so of the buckle end which is perfect. And for those reasons I will never go back to a traditional belt again.

Great concept, not so great execution?
Really great concept although I've run into my fair share of problems with it. I bought this belt as my weight tends to fluctuate a fair amount and this seemed like the perfect product. Although for the first few days it seemed to work perfectly, I soon ran into some problems.- The belt buckle regularly detaches from the belt, I'm not sure if it's the quality of the material but it seems like the leather/nylon is too easily ripped apart. This happened with alarming frequency meaning not two months later, having to cut to readjust, the belt strap is now as short as it can be without being to small for me. So I've only got two months use out of the product without ever being sure it would stand up to the strain.- Hopefully the other belt straps are made of stronger material however given my experience I'm not willing to pay for another one in case it happens again. It's a real shame as these belts came with great reviews but my experience was totally different. :(FWIW I'm not even that overly rotund that I co

High quality, sturdy belt
I was looking for something with the adjustability of webbed belts, but with a bit more weight and rigidity to it. This belt fits that perfectly. It's thick enough that it doesn't feel flimsy and doesn't curl up when I'm sitting down.Time will tell how long it lasts, but a few months in the only issue is the gold finish wearing off the release lever.

Great quality belt!
This is a very sturdy belt and very good quality. I thought the buckle was a bit big but my husband didn’t think so, and he loved the sleek design and color. The packaging was very secured.
