The media could not be loaded.  I brought some cheap maker before, but the waffle was flat and won'r rise, because the voltage was low so it was not hot enough to make it rise. But with this Powerful waffle maker, my waffles were PREFECT every time, you can do different setting. from softer to crispy waffle, adjust light to dark colour waffle, cook is 4 and a half minutes for 2 waffled (time depend on your setting) Highly recommand. I am glad I have paid more for a good quality waffle maker. A must buy

Amazing waffle maker

I've been searching for a good waffle maker for a very long time and I finally found one! Gastroback waffle maker is amazing. You can choose settings to your liking and have them crispy and light or a bit more dense.I highly recommend!

We gave this a good go but are returning it.There is no proper temperature control (no idea what the temperature is at any point, including in custom mode).There is no way to set a timer in custom mode.The operation is not intuitive in the slightest.We had two goes at sweet potato waffles; both ended up in the bin as both were burnt to a crisp on the outside and uncooked on the inside (well, they split and stuck to the plates, which had been seasoned as per the instructions).This machine is incredibly difficult to clean as the plates are non-removable and bits end up in the hinges and are near impossible to remove.This might be great if you just want standard waffles made with eggs, using the presets.I am very dubious of just how long the sensors that this machine relies on are actually going to last - without even one of them, this machine will not work.As a note: some users have complained about the loose lid; this is not a design flaw at all, but a feature to ensure even waffles at different thickness. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the lid itself. And the machine feels solid.We expected better for such an expensive and specialised machine.

Good power fast startup and options, though default program is good enough why would you need others not sure. If everything went well, it bakes perfectly, and nonstick coating looks and does good job.However biggest problem is overfill plate, it is too small which makes it useless. Overflow even low amounts will go through front panel and down everywhere washing through. Because of the consistency changes in batter, required/perfect amount will change and easily it will be too little or too much so it is very important that there is a proper overflow capture and this machine fails badly at that.Also the floating hinge/handle duo not the best as I had other machines which had better closing angle and pressure. It feels very amateurish.So bit disappointing. I would try some other brands if especially they have larger overflow space.

Used it first time yesterday and so far so good. Great product with lots of settings to make you waffle like you want. We bought it through recommendation.
