At first I thought, what is this? Where is my 220mg of Zinc Sulfate? Then I did research, surfing the web and Amazon for other products that purported the same. It turns out 50mg of elemental Zinc does deliver 220 mg of Zinc Sulfate. All the other products, at a higher price, give you 50mg of Zinc which then contains 220mg of Zinc Sulfate. So you do get what you ask for at a much lower price. My only complaint, they should list it on the back label, because most people won't do the research I did.

This was recommended to treat my son’s plantar warts. He is young and has problems swallowing pills, so I had to cut them in half to make them the size of a small allergy pill, which he can swallow easily. He didn’t love the taste/ chalkiness, but this may have been because we cut them in half. He took this for 2 months only 2 times a day (bottle says 3 times) and his compound plantar wart was cured. This was in combination with other treatments, such as soaking in Aveeno oatmeal mix and nightly applying a compound prescribed by our dermatologist, but I still feel like it made a difference.
