I first started using these many years ago and then they seemed to disappear from my shelf. I don't know what happened, no doubt a major event of some sort to make me forget all about using them because I really liked them. They are soft on your face and I love that. I love the way they clean, the way they feel, the squeeze to rinse, almost like a stress ball, feels great on your eyes. I had no idea this was a root until I looked it up. I thought it was a Sea Sponge. So funny now to see the dirty ole root. It doesn't come that way to you to ever think it was a root. Check out the sponge sometime. It is quite fascinating. I wouldn't eat it though. They say you can for weight loss because of the way they expand in your stomach, but I wouldn't myself. The sponge lasts a real long time. I moved to my home about 8 years ago and I brought them to this home, but never used all of them. I don't remember when I bought them at the old place. So it is a mystery, but I do know the one I found and used was at least 8 years old and had not disintegrated at all. I would use it for a month and replace. The one I'm using has lasted over 8 years old. It was in a paper though. So they last a lot longer than what is stated, but for sanitary reasons, a month is good. They say they break down, or flake. I have never had one flake on me and I squeeze it all to heck. I love the stress release myself. Does a good job on my face. I have no pimples and my face has a good complexion. It is super soft and I like the way it feels and cleans. So much nicer than a wash cloth. I highly recommend these sponges.

These facial sponges are wonderful. Just add water for them to become soft and spongey. I add my facial cleanser to my face, then wash with the sponge. Feels so nice. I ordered more of them for bridal shower game prizes. Highly recommend.

The good: This is a fantastic sponge and I love the way my face feels after using it.The not-so-good: Durability is mixed. I expect a sponge to last a few weeks. The first two I used were good for about 6 weeks, the next one had an air bubble and lasted about 2 weeks, then the next was good for only 3 uses. I had already ordered a new box by then, same inconsistency.I don’t know if this problem is with all konjac sponges or just this brand. It’s a great sponge, just mixed durability.

I have been using konjac sponges for about 20 years now. It's my essential beauty tool and I cannot live without it. I have bought many different brands, but the best is definitely Boscia, which is sold at Sephora. However, Boscia costs $15 each so I started looking elsewhere and tried some on Amazon. This one probably is the most legit konjac sponges considering its quality and cost. One costs only 2-3 bucks!Some cheap konjac sponges are not even made with real konjac although they claim to be. The texture is rough and doesn't make my skin smooth. However, this product is soft and exfoliates my skin pretty well. I'm not sure if it's really 100% konjac knowing Boscia's quality, which is made from 100% konjac, but it's good enough that I have been sticking with this for a while now.The reason why I'm giving this only 3 starts is that the significant difference between green sponges and black ones. First of all the size is different - black is smaller than green, which isn't the issue. But the quality of green ones is definitely lower than black. Green ones are rougher and I can't feel much exfoliation that I feel with black ones. Many brands have different colors claiming that black has charcoal, green has green tea or aloe vera, red has clay and whatnot, but I personally have never felt or seen any different result between colors so I believe it's just their way to attract more consumers. Having said that, I'm sure the quality difference between greens and blacks isn't because they are made from different ingredients. I wish this package only contained black ones.

I am excited about these for the sake of compostability but each one is individually wrapped in plastic. Wonder if there could be a more sustainable packaging solve!

ive used so many different konjak sponges and this brand has been the best I have come across so far. Myh face feels so smooth and clean after using them. You do not even need any cleanser, just warm water and the sponge. You wont regret buying these!

I love these konjac sponges. Definitely a great way to gently exfoliate.The box comes with 4 individually wrapped sponges. Of the 4, there are 2 different colors: grey and green. I really like this as I use one color for myself and the other for my husband (no mixing them up)!Each sponge is attached to a thin string, which is handy if you'd like to hang it in the shower to avoid it from touching any surfaces.As for usage, it's pretty simple. I simply loop it around the faucet handle so that it softens while I shower. Once I'm done cleansing my body, I run the sponge directly under the water for about 30 seconds and presto, it's softened enough to use.I definitely recommend this product from this vendor!

I've only been using the charcoal sponge for about a week but I find it cleanses the face without the need for lotion or chemicals. Firm but soft and the fine holes do give my face a gently exfoliated feeling . I've seen reviews showing how they disintegrate easily so will not use overly hot water and hope I will get a long use out of them. Better than using cotton pads.

以前使用して何の問題もなかったので再購入したのですが、酷い粗悪品になっていました。初回使用時から凹みを感じ、製造時に大きく空気が入ったのではないかと思われました。案の定、2回目の使用で破れてしまい、穴からボロボロとカスのようなものが流れ出しました。使い物にならないので、新しいものを出せばまた同じことに。最終的には4個中3個が使えなかったです。1個目の時は偶然かと思いましたが、今は材料を減らすために、わざと空気を入れているのではないかと思っているくらいです。もう買いません。
