I’ve bought these twice for outdoor deck steps. They’re great! Just peel off the protective backing they ship with and place. The first set lasted 2 years before I wanted a color refresh due to sun and winter weather. They stay in place just fine. Replacement was a choice not necessity!

As far as quality. These are great. I had bought them thinking they would be like stick on for my stairs. They are more like removable with a little bit of resistance for the adhesive. The adhesive does not keep them down like tape or glue. I made them work for my scenario. And the carpets themselves are easy to clean and look nice.

These stair treads are very thin. After applying treads, I could easily lift treads off feeling hardly any resistance. However, they don't shift when walked on and have stayed in place. They seem to be effective, although, since they are quite thin, am wondering if they will wear quickly. We've used these for 2 days and time will tell.

I spent a lot of time looking for the best deal for carpeted stair pads. This item wasn’t at the top of Amazon’s suggestions and didn’t have a lot of reviews, but I’m so glad I chose this product.Unlike similar products on Amazon, it’s shipped in a way that doesn’t crease the stair treads. It comes with 15 per order, which is a steal considering the quality and ease of application.This is the perfect product if you’re looking for a simple, good quality stair tread.The ONLY downside I could even reference is that the adhesive side is not very sticky at all. However if you want to remove them from time to time, this isn’t even a downside. I simply used a bit of puzzle glue and added it to the backs of these treads, and it worked perfectly. This is a great product with an even better price.

I used this item to give my basement stairs a more finished look. The carpet stair treads were thinner than expected so they don't provide cushioning. When laying make sure the surface of the stairs are clean and dry to ensure the adhesive does stick. Do not depend solely on the adhesive to keep them in place. I used a staple gun to tack down on each corner. This prevents them from moving however some of the carpet threads are curling up along the front edge in some spots. Double sided tape has seemed to have fixed this problem. To clean just vacuum. Have not had any spills so not sure how easy that will be to clean. Overall I am glad I bought these carpet treads. They were perfect for my purpose.
