Brooks Saddles Leather Wrap Slender Grips

Beautiful! I love the color of the leather and it worked perfectly with my bike. It's a bit interesting that the aluminum feels very lightweight and somewhat "cheap" but you don't really want anything heavy on your bike. The quality of the leather and logo stamp is exactly what I thought a Brooks product would be.... Perfect. I can't wait for these beauties to start aging. Love them! (Seller was slow to ship but they arrived over night once shipped and ahead of schedule so that was nice!)

The absolute best, nothing else really to say. If you are looking for quality, this is the only way to go. This is my third set but first black set. Every set I have had has been beyond the quality I expected. The only problem I have ever had is one time I broke the screw that is used to tighten them to the handlebar due to over torque. It was my fault obviously, however, I never replaced it and still use the bike with only one holding it down and it hasn't moved.I love Brooks products, I guess I became a fan boy about six years ago when I decided to rebuilt a classic bike I got at a yard sale. I rebuild bikes all the time. Brooks is now my go-to product line.

Great grips - Comfortable and chic.

I read the posts calling the machined ends cheap and that the grips slip. Not for me. They are gorgeous and after just snugging down the screws they are solid on the bars. They look as rich as they were expensive. I rubbed some Brooks proofhide into them while doing my new saddle, perfect match.

These grips look great but their quality is crap. All of the 2mm hex set screws stripped while I was installing with hardly any torque at all. The first time I dropped my bike the cap popped off. I could not repair it because the set screws were stripped

Essentially, these are like any purchase where you’ll have to decide whether their rareness and aesthetic appeal are worth the added expense. And in this case, I’d say so. They are very well made, and are a perfect match for their B17 saddle (which cannot be said for their GP1 grip, which didn’t match at all). They come with the correct size torx bit to tighten them, which I nearly missed in their packaging (it’s glued to the inside of the box). They don’t seem to offer any functional advantages/disadvantages over similar grips. In a nutshell, not a bad way to make a bike “yours.”

I thought these would be hard on my hands after opening them, there's not much padding, but I actually enjoy them a lot more than my "ergonomic" gummy stock grips. Would recommendedit: 4 years later, still love them. I put ~50-100 miles on my bike each year, not as much as I'd like, but no signs of wear

Achetées avec la promo en cours (-60%) c'est dur de passer à côté. La qualité est au rendez-vous, le cuir est splendide et le montage simple. Brooks fournit dans l'emballage un embout Torx pour le serrage. C'est bien vu, mais une clé aurait peut-être été plus appropriée, tout le monde n'ayant pas de porte-embout sous la main.Le confort est ferme, le toucher est parfait. Ne vous attendez pas à trouver un quelconque amorti contrairement aux poignées en caoutchouc épais.Le petit plus, c'est la possibilité de trouver chez Brooks toutes les pièces détachées, et éventuellement de pouvoir changer de couleur de poignées en commandant les bandes de cuir séparément.Contrairement à ce que j'ai pu lire dans d'autres commentaires, il n'y a pas de quoi s'extasier sur le packaging. C'est sobre et sans fioritures, c'est bien fait mais ça reste une boîte en carton recyclé. Ca au moins le mérite de ne pas être en plastique.
