I am very happy with a CRESTIN solar powered security camera. The resolution is excellent day and with night vision is very good. It’s a nice feature be able to adjust the direction of the camera with the app. The app handles both cameras well. With it running off of solar power, it makes makes things so much easier. No having to go and retrieve a battery to charge it. In my opinion, this is a very good security camera and app..

I bought two of these cameras and they worked great but then the Crestin app quit qorking. I reached out to their support team repeatedly without any response. Big waste of time and money.

Update. I uninstalled app by mistake. When I reinstalled it , the App crashes whenever I try to open it and add the camera. It3unusable now.I bought this because it says it detects motion at 40 ft. It seems to have only one tiny section to the left that seems more sensitive but for most of the viewing area it only detects no further than 20ft. Also. THE LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON WITH MOTION. Thru only work continuous if you choose to run the camera in color mode at night instead if IR. The IR night view is very clear. I would not buy this camera again due to the lack of motion lights and motion detection distance being so lousy.

I was going to use for outside home security. however unable to use as none of the cameras had instructions on how to link to internet and or applications. Uable to get help from Amazon and or Crestin. I would be happy just with the Instructions. I did not open until after the return window so Amazon unwilling to help and Crestin technicians unable to help with this device.

I DO, it's all I needed, does what states. Wish it was 5mp quality and min 10x zoom... But can't find in solar Yet. I install cameras need a solar camera for job, one that was affordable and good. This doesn't have tracking which so many have but for $80 you will never find a better camera. This Solar beats out reolinks Solar I hate to say, and I install them also.

The app is not very user friendly. And the wifi is subpar. I tried using this camera in the very front of my house on the garage and even with. Strong/reliable Eufy wifi extender it was getting a totally week signal strength which is unfortunate considering it was pretty steep in price compared to similar items.
