The brooch came just like it looked, not looking any cheaper or looking any nicer. It is what I would expect from a $15 velvet brooch, as the velvet I received was thankfully very thick and sturdy, and while the detailing was obviously not real precious metals and gems, it did carry a weight to it which does make it look and feel nicer. Despite the inexpensive materials, it does not feel cheaply constructed. Worth the $15 I paid with 2-day shipping.

Such a romantic, preppy, and standout piece. The little accent broaches against the black velvet ribbon are stunning and the green emerald in the center puts on the finishing touch. Looks well made and a find for the price. Paired with a collared shirt and coat it makes the outfit. So classy and sophisticated.

Velvet Ribbon & decent jewel accents
I ordered something similar and was annoyed with its small size & droopy gros-grain ribbon. This one is a good weight velvet ribbon and the ornamentation looks just like pictures. Pleased! Nice color as well.
