It is true that if you want you can touch the mesh, but not accidentally as an adult and it should not be left within the reach of children. I think that its best location is hanging, as restaurants and bars usually place them.We live on the outskirts of the town, very close to the countryside, and I am sure that when temperatures rise, flies and mosquitoes will appear, as they do every year. Until now we have tried to dissuade them with mosquito nets and citronella plants, but one always ends up entering the house. I hope that the attractive light and the bait that accompanies the lamp will serve to avoid them this year.The finish of the lamp is quite good, somewhat adjusted in terms of solidity, but enough for the use that is going to be given to it. To collect dead insects, it has a tray that is simply placed on the base.

I hate to have to give this a one star review. But I bought this in preparation to take camping. Once I finally had the opportunity to use it, it was barely out of my return window. It worked for about 2 hours, then I turned it off, and carefully cleaned it as required, and it won’t turn on at all now. So I am out all the money unless Lunatino does the right thing and lets me exchange it. Will you contact me Lunatino? I would really appreciate it. I think I will place it on the lower base which appears as a sort of containing tray.All in all it is very safe, having an external passive protection grid, but it is always better that children cannot access it.I had only a moment of perplexity at the first ignition, one of the two lamps flashed a little and was annoying .. but it has not done so since the second ignition .. probably the gas contained should have been heated well.At the moment I am very satisfied and the price is very affordable, we will see its true efficiency this summer.

This item works well. the lights light up fine, and it zaps bugs that come into contact with it. If you want the best result, try to use it in low light, as the bugs are attracted to light.

Product works, but not good. bugs bounce off electric grid and fly away!

We love this bug zapper. It works great and has eliminated a lot of flying insects.We are seriously thinking of purchasing a second one. Great product.Piece of advice: Be sure to empty it daily of the dead insects.

Worked beautifully first time I used it…zapped flies and mosquitos. Broke 2nd time I used it. On/off switch froze. No longer usable. Waste of money. Past return window.
