This is a useful tester as it does all the battery types I normally find around the house or office. Only downside is it takes a AAA battery to run. Bases on my experience of recent years, you will have to take the battery out should it sit unused for long periods of time, lest it leak and ruin the tester. I am trying Lithium batteries in items that have long standby times, as I understand they are not so prone to this failure.

Works well. Just disappointed that it dies not test the 9V batteries. It was very easy to set up and use, but now I cannot test my 9V batteries! Pity.
