Well worth the price
It's only been installed a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to longevity. But for $60ish dollars, it's a great unit.Receiver is well worth the price by itself - the speakers are fairly meh but it's hard to be too judgmental given the price point. I was replacing some 15 year old Kenworths which were blown and weather beaten all the hell - well, as it happens, they still sounded better with the new receiver than the new ones do. Slight bummer there. But, really, it's unfair to expect a $60 radio & speaker set to sound like a speaker that costs $30-40 by itself. And the included speakers work just fine.I suspect the unit is not very water proof - luckily I already had a weathertight cover that closes securely over the receiver from the old unit. I would strongly recommend getting one as it is not included in the kit and if the radio is exposed to the elements, I have little doubt it would die almost instantly. If it is mounted into some sort of cabinet, I assume it would be fine. The remote is a nice touch. I thought it silly at first but as it happens, it makes it much easier to adjust the radio without having to pop open the weather proof cover.

This is a cheap radio but works
Ok the reviews about it not turning on. The first time it powers on you have to cick the on button a few times and it will turn on. This radio is ok for a boat that is used on the lake then stored in a garage. It's water resistant for light right. But if you leave your boat outside for a few rain storms, you will get water inside the screen. It doesn't seem to mess with the performance just the screen.

Installed in my Harley Davidson electrical glide
I don’t not recommend at all I installed was listening to it for about 30 minutes and it quite producing sound. The radio is picking up my music just not putting it out into the speakers. With the radio or bluetoooth. Got a second one from Amazon as a replacement for the first and once again worked for only 20 minutes sound went out and stop hear the music would not buy this brand ever again. I repeat do not buy this radio stay way go buy a jvc or a Sony for the extra 40 dollars.

GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY SPENT....
I read most of the reviews for this product before purchasing. I was a little put off by so many negative comments about people who stated that the product was dead out of the box. I decided to take the risk of getting a good one so i ordered it. Product was promptly delivered in a well packaged sealed box. I first tested the existing stereo wiring in my newly purchased used boat to ensure that I at least had power and a good ground wire. I followed the instructions and connected the enclosed loom using waterproof crimp connectors which have shrinkwrap ends. I again tested for power at the pin receptors which slide into the back of the stereo. I then pushed the power button and the stereo powered up. I did a comprehensive function test using the enclosed remote and the unit performed flawlessly. I checked to make sure that all four existing speakers were working before securing the unit into its new home. On a scale of 1-10 for sound quality, I give this unit a strong 7.5. A definite 10 for the money! Great value! I just installed a few weeks ago so I can't address longevity/reliability of this unit. If I get 2 years out of it, it will be worth what I paid......

Used 2 summers. Installed in pontoon.
These speakers burned out this year. Only got 2 summers out of them. The stereo part still turns on, but no sound. Took everything apart and checked wires - no luck. Didn’t expect them to last forever so it’s whatever. We use a portable Bluetooth speaker on the boat now because they’re cheaper and louder. And more versatile.
