This product is comfortable and does not come off when I sleep. It’s a winner.

I used to buy these 1-2 times a year at Sally’s. They start off super tight, but it’s only uncomfortable for a day or two and then they loosen up a bit. But you seriously don’t want your bonnets too loose - that’s when they slide around and I feel like I wake up without them 80% of the time and it drives me crazy. I never have to worry about that with these until it’s been like 6+ months later. That includes washing it every week. I had to cut a lot of hair off, so it’s only shoulder length right now and it easily fits all my (straightened) hair. It’ll fit as it keeps growing too - I had elbow length hair and it fit just fine. I’ll start buying these online since they’re so hard to find in stores :(

Fit perfectly

I purchased this bonnet to replace my old bonnet, which has stretched out of shape after years of use and is now way too big for my head. After reading the reviews and looking at the picture of this bonnet on the packaging, I thought this would be a great replacement. Unfortunately, my judgement was wrong.This bonnet presents the opposite problem as my old bonnet, as this bonnet is too small. If you have very thick and/or very long hair, forget about it! The picture of this bonnet on the packaging is very deceiving and is nowhere near that large. It's not uncomfortably small, but it would definitely be a better fit on my 7-year-old niece's head. Instead of elastic, this bonnet has a stretchy band at the bottom of the cap that fits too snugly around my head. I always find myself pulling the band back down over my forehead and also past my hairline at the nape of my neck throughout the night because the band rides up. If I allowed the bonnet to rub up against my hairline at night I eventually wouldn't have a hairline! Additionally, constantly pulling the stretchy band back down past my hairline throughout the night, besides being annoying, would also thin out my hairline due to the constant tugging and manipulation of the hairs there as the cap is being pulled back down. This alone is what has me on the lookout for another bonnet.The other issue is that this bonnet will get purple dye all over everything you put your head on. Seeing the purple streaks all over my white pillowcase when I woke up in the morning freaked me out at first because I didn't know where it was coming from. I didn't immediately think of my new bonnet as the culprit because the dye is purple and the bonnet is black. However, I finally put two and two together and noticed that purple streaks only appeared when I wore the bonnet. Besides dirtying my pillowcases, my other concern is for my hair. If the dye is coming of so easily on my pillowcases, then it is probably also in my hair. I am very conscious of the things I put in my hair and I have no idea what is in this dye, so this is very troublesome. I won't throw this bonnet away, but it'll definitely only be used for emergencies.

This bonnet is of very good quality. It's a little thinner than expected but it keeps my hair moisturized all night long. It doesn't bleed into my pillows and doesn't slip off either (and I move around a lot when I sleep). The band is very secure and not too tight, but just the right amount. I have a bigger head and very thick hair and this bonnet is big enough for me. The price doesn't hurt either. Go ahead and buy this. You won't regret it!

This bonnet is too tight and thin. It doesn't make any difference with my hair when wearing it. Instead, it gives me a headache. Not worth it.

Stays on and is ok comfort-wise. It itches my forehead a little and landed a mark across my forehead that lasts for a while.

This is pretty good, the only thing I don't like is that it leaves an indentation on my forehead that takes HOURS to go away. And I don't have bangs to hide it! It doesn't keep the hair in the front part of my head in place as well as the rest of my hair, but I'll take any help to minimize/prevent waking up with frizzy/messy hair!Wearing this has saved me a lot of time in the bathroom getting ready. Now I can shower at night if I want, blow dry my hair, put this baby on and wake up to my hair looking almost as it did when I styled it. I think every girl needs one of these. I do want to say though, if you have a dollar store near you, they likely have something just like it, as I learned on a recent trip there. I bought one from the dollar store and it works just as well!

Dose stay on my small head very well. I'm a bit of a wriggler whilst I sleep too. And it only comes off slightly some nights, others not at all.Really good for managing my frizzy curly hair, dose not remove all frizz but, dose help with the morning routine battle. will recommend to anyone with rebellious wavy/curly hair.Oh make sure the seam isn't on your forehead, as it leaves a big dent after it's taken off and it looks a bit weird

this looked great (black and good width of elastic which is what i was looking for and cheap however when it arrived was very disappointed in the ‘satin’ material it is completely see through and is satin on the outside!! Not the side that would go against ur hair on the inside which defeats the purpose the inside material feels almost like a cotton again defeating the purpose as would cause frizz on my hair.. I used mine but turned it inside out so the silky side was against my hair however only used a couple times and bought a more expensive good quality ‘real’ satin one .. this product does look good as far a satin bonnets go but if you are looking for a real satin bonnet save ur few pounds and just put it towards a thicker satin one.

Not very happy with this, When I attempted to put this on it was so tight it hardly went over my bun , For the first three nights it was so tight it didn’t slip anywhere. Then it seems that the elastic has just gone as now it slips off by morning. I brought a satin scarf which I assumed was similar to this a year ago and it was perfect the elastic was very stretchy well-made and it never slipped off at all. What has happened to this product? Don’t think I will be repurchasing!

If I could have given this half a star I would have.I have a very small head and the band around this cap was so tight it was impossible to wear it! Tried to return it and it wasn’t eligible for return so I’m stuck with it! Suitable for a smallish child, but definitely not an adult!

I bought this satin bonnet to prevent my 4c hair from breaking so much as I move around a lot in my sleep. The price I paid is value for money however I was a bit disappointed when I opened my parcel. The actual bonnet looks different to the picture on the packaging (as usual) and it was quite tight around my head (I have a small head so that was surprising). I’ve had to cut the band to make it comfortable to wear. It does the job alright aside from the fact the band is now tearing through.
